So we all know who is going 1 & 2. But who ya got going #3?
I'm a big Horford guy. He doesn't get the run that Noah gets out of Florida, but he's going to be a beast. What about Yi from China? Supposedly really good. Also interesting is that Atlanta has 2 picks (#3 & #11) that they could use and really boost their squad. One mock had them taking Horford at 3, and then PG Acie Law at 11. I thought Acie had a killer year at A&M. Again, Conley out of OSU is getting the run, but Acie Law can ball. That would be a hell of a draft for them. What say you? Any draft night trades? Anybody getting into the draft (i.e., Nuggets) or getting out of the draft? |

If I was Atlanta I'd go with Horford at 3. You could make a case for Conley, who might be a bigger need right now, but at 3 you just want the best player you can get. At 11 i would try my damndest to try and trade back up to take Brewer. Hes my early pick for rookie of the year. If they cant do that and they are going to take someone, Law would be the smartest and safest player there.
But again if they cant trade up to take Brewer, I honestly would trade down in the early to mid 20s and take Tucker out of Wisconsin, my runner up rookie of the year. Thats my take anyways. |

Horford is the guy they should take.
I think Conley could be very good in 2 more years, but that is a ways away, and they need an impact guy now. |

I just read an article that said the Suns are going to try to keep Amare out of any deal, but is not untouchable. The T'wolves want picks and cap friendly deals, Marion doesnt want to play for Boston, and Garnett really only wants to play for Phoenix. So they may say a deal is likely to get done, but unless some blinks, i can't see it happening.

I think they'd be stupid not to deal at least one of the picks. With two in the top 11 i can see them shaking this up big time, whether or not they trade. They still have Sheldon Williams and Marvin Williams. So the two positions of strength in the draft are filled for them.

Here is how the draft is going to go down: 1) Port - Oden 2) Seat - Durant 3) Atl - Horford 4) Mem - Conley, Jr 5) Bos - Yi Jianlian 6) Mil - Brewer 7) Minny - Hawes 8) Char - B. Wright 9) Chic - Noah 10) Sac - J. Green WHOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!! Super Bowl Thursday, baby! WHOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!! |

I dont like 2 of the top names on Memphis list. Conley is good but we drafted a PG (Lowry) in the first last year that was doing well before he got hurt. Noah well I just dont like him he seems off in the head, during his interview after the championship he was watching him sell on the big screen the entire time
add to that some of his lines in different interviews. |

Kyle Lowry is a career backup at best. He doesn't have the outside shot nor the offensive game to be a starter in this league. He is Erick Strickland minus the jumper. A tough son of a gun, but that's it. |

Watch out for Nick Young or Al Thornton at 9. Chicago desperately needs a guard that can break fools off the dribble. The current roster does not have a player capable of doing that and that really hurt them in the playoffs.
Oh yea, Nick Young is the darkhorse sleeper of this draft. Dude can ball. |

Nothing really to be heartbroken about. It was a lotto. I knew the Celtics stood a better chance of landing OUTSIDE the top 2 picks then they did landing one of them.

My board is coming true!
Chad ford minutes ago reported that ATL is going to select Horford at 3. Conley should go to Memphis at 4. And that leaves YI!!!!!!!!!! for Boston. YIIIIIII!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! 7'1 tall, 7'4.5" wingspan...scored 13 pts and had 7 rebounds in 24minutes against team USA last summer. One of the best athletes in the draft! YI!!!!!!!!!!! |

Would that trade end all hope of any KG trade as it seems the Celts are the catalyst in a lot of these blockbuster deals? |
