Club Level

I am considering buying some tickets for 2007 but I'm worried about selling any that I can't use. Anybody know what the market is like for the Club Level?

I know regular tickets sell easily but does $300+ a crack make it more difficult?

Absolutely. You'd be better off going to a scalper year after year for the games you want than buying club level IMO.

Either that or go to ebay and just buy a pair of seats for the season and resell the games you won't use. You'll pay a premium but save thousands of dollars.

Besides you need a several year contract with the club level from what I've been told. If they allowed a one year commitment that would be one thing but it's several years I think?

Besides only wine drinking BMW drivers like AK sit in the club level.

The only tempting thing for me is to not have the 6,8 or 10 year wait for regular ticket and then having to wait another 10 years to finally work yourself into decent seats. I guess I'm impatient. I got on the list 2 years ago and it seems like forever.

You can usually buy club level tix for face value throughout the season. My 5 cents worth.

Last year, I brought club level for half price for the last 4 games.
There was no market.

Case in point.

These are still way overpriced at 3k but they are great seats. This is a much better deal that is on ebay on any given day. The 100 section is pretty cool also. You get the south stand feel yet you have a better angle of the field.

If you are a dodge driving beer drinking regular Joe I'd say stick with some regular seats.

There is an upside and downside to buying a full season of ticket at once in my opinion. It's cool getting to know the people around you if they are cool but if you have some old crabby bastard right next to you or behind you telling you to sit down and be quite all season it sucks. That happened to me one year. Spent most of the year in a different seat just to avoid the situation all together.

Oh one more thing. IF you go this route be sure to negotiate the playoff rights also. Some people try and keep those and really jack people around during the playoffs.

Is section 116 any good? Is it obstructed at all? Those seats would suck at Qualcomm, but on TV it looks decent at Invesco. Anybody sat there before? Row 9.

I sat in club level this year for the monday night game against Baltimore and I have to say I was pretty unimpressed. A few years back I went to the big 12 championship to watch my Buffaloes get their asses beat. Sat club level in the Houston stadium and it was ten times nicer than the Invesco club level. I just don't think those tickets are worth the premium.

I thought about it last year but decided against it. Unless you are getting a tax write off, corporate sponsorship or splitting it with somebody it's not worth it.

That all said if you want to split them with me and a couple of others then let me know. I would not mind seeing two games per year in club seats. I have some senior citizen friends who are handicapped that I would not mind seeing a game with now and again.

I've sat in section 113 row 5 and section 115 row 12. Both were good seats, although if I had to choose between the two, 113 would win!

I have sat in section 306 club level since day one. the views are unbielievable and the amenities awesome. That said I miss the south stand crowd, nothing but corporate fairweather fans for the most part. When it snows or is cold I usually am sitting alone. If you get club seats you won't have a crowd to get to know, 9 times out of ten the people buying excess tickets the corporate types don't want are serious road fans who have cash. So for the price of club level I end up usually surrounded by obnoxious guys wanting the Ravens or Chiefs to win. My buddy has a bad back and the seats in club help his back as well as the nice warm inside area on cold days. As I get older the lack of passion and the people who seem to want to take their
5 year old to game and have thin skin seem to annoy me more and more. Another few years I'll most likely stay home where Ican drink, swear and shout to my hearts content. I think we should make the NFL games "R" rated and kick the corporate types out. No kids and no people without a clue allowed.

Is it possible to get a box for one game? It would be pretty fun if a bunch of us took down a box for one game next year. Can you imagine 20-30 Omaners packed in a box. That would be a riot.

Absolutely, positively have to go on the East side. If you don't that shadow comes in and it get coooold in the 3rd quarter.

You can do a 1 day box. I have wanted to do it for years. Cost would about 300.00pp, well worth the memories we would have. Count me in for sure.

Club level sucks out loud. These are the same "fans" that show up 15 minutes before game time parking in Lot C. They come out in there company polos and such. They get out of the Mercedes and hi tail it to the stadium while looking over their shoulder as Meck burns another Chiefs jersey.

The should have a box for BRONCO FANS only but that doesn't seem a priority to them. The most devout fans I have ever seen were in the parking lot or in the rafters.

The old south standers are gone. They cannot afford the tickets and for the most part the north standers seem every bit as die hard anymore.

I've heard of the family section at Coors, maybe start the O-Mane section? It sure would be fun going to games with guys that have a fire in their belly, I really miss the old south stand crowd. Gotta love the corporate types that sit down 20 plays into the game, stand up to leave as Walker breaks open for a bomb and are gone at the first sight of cold or precipitation. My buddy and I constantly yell "game-on" when they are standing up looking for their seats, most give us evil glares like they can't imagine why anyone would be yelling at them.
