For a local sports guy goober, he asked some pretty good questions. Well done, Lance Wilkerson.

I liked how when he said going up against the defense and how it is rly hard he mentioned: "Dre, Champ, John(lynch), and then DJ Williams"

That probs does not really mean anything, but I think it kind of proves DJ is a great player out there and a good leader who is not as quiet as we all think he is. Just throwing that out there lol.

I hope Cutler isn't that lethargic speaking in huddles.

Every time I see him in an interview, he reminds me of a young John Lennon.

Love how he feels he wont see a tougher secondary than what he practices against.

When you see national talking heads talk about Cutler - they talk about his tools, his poise, how he is in good hands w/ Shanny. But they rarely talk about how he is going against the best CB tandem in the NFL every day in practice and how beneficial that is for his development.

I am very excited to see how this might play out for Cutler on game days. He has got to be licking his chops to go against other CB tandems around the league.

Got to love it. He's so down to earth - going back home and giving a local a big interview. Helping raise money for a local park. Converting old highlight films of his dad.

Can you say character?

Not even close to stoned. He was coherent. Didn't say anything stupid. We've just gotten used to extreme extroverts like Shannon or Portis--the press loves them so they get lots of air time. Result, a normal football player looks stoned.

I enjoyed the interview. It's refreshing to listen to someone speak more about the attributes of others than themselves.

I've got to get my week 1 tickets vs. Buffalo. The kid and all the offensive tools will be fun to watch.

Quick! Anyone know what day Elway was drafted? Cutler's date of birth:04/29/1983. That looks awfully close to the draft..

Practicing against the best CB tandem in the league only can make Cutler go through all his reads more quickly. #1 ain't there, #2 ain't there, now 3 and 4. I know, the looks don't go like that, but he'll quickly learn great coverage and good coverage that he can thread the needle on. Practicing against Champ and Bly, he must lick his chops when he sees soft coverage.
