Default Why did Bush Lie about the WTC?

Hear ABC News talk about his false facts

ABC News reporter John Cochran told ABC's Peter Jennings, "He got out of his hotel suite this morning, was about to leave, reporters saw the White House chief of staff Andy Card whisper into his ear, then reporters said to the President 'do you know what's going on in New York'? - he said he did and would have something to say about it later."

This contradicts Bush's statement that he made on two separate occasions, that he first learned of what was going on in New York from watching a television outside of the classroom as he prepared to talk about education with a group of Florida schoolchildren.

Well, obviously Bush had foreknowledge and probably directed the whole thing! Thanks, LABF, for providing this absolutely key and totally irrefutable and incontestable proof!

NOT.

W*GS to Trifecta Boy's rescue - just like old times.

Old habits die hard, apparently.

Pointing out the flimsiness of your post is taken by you as a defense of Bush.

OK.

Perhaps English isn't your first language and you have real difficulty in understanding it.

BTW, since the first plane to hit the WTC did so at 8:46, how could reporters know about that before it happened, i.e., before Bush had actually left the hotel?

Seeing as how you're one of the morons who voted for The Pinhead and defended him here ad nauseum, forgive me if I take anything you might say at this juncture with a VERY large grain of salt.

Yes I voted for him, and I will admit that. I havent defended him him 'ad nauseum', or my republican party.

Just pointing out your hipocracy here as worldnetdaily is now a credible source to you

LABF is right to question Bush's behavior on the morning of 911.

A quick look at Paul Thompson's 911 timeline shows that Bush's behavior that morning was peculiar, to say the least. The WTC had just been hit. So why did the Secret Service allow Bush to remain in the Florida classroom? They should have wisked him out of there without delay. After all, assuming it was a real attack there was every reason to think that Bush himself might be in danger. Yet, Bush took his sweet time -- left the classroom at about 9:16 AM, in other words, almost 15 minutes AFTER the 2nd strike.

Even then Bush dawdled -- worked on his speech in another room -- then had a photo op with the press. This is too weird for words. Check it out

http://www.cooperativeresearch.org/t...y_of_9/11=bush

In fact, according to the Thompson timeline Bush didn't finally leave the school until sometime after 9:30 AM, at which time the Secret Service suddenly came to life and rushed him out of there. This is how policemen described it who were there. The cops at this point thought that Bush himself was under attack. There was also a threat to Air Force One -- later admitted by Ari Fleischer.

This is all very strange. What's going on here? It's as if the SS thought the events in NYC were a mere exercise. Nothing unexpected -- and no threat to the president himself.

It only became real shortly after 9:30 AM -- and this is where it gets really interesting. Because as I've shown in a recent post the military lied about the time of the pentagon strike. There is powerful evidence it was actually hit at 9:32 AM -- NOT 9:38. If you didn't see the paper here it is
http://www.rense.com/general76/wdb.htm

In other words, it appears a though the SS came to life -- and the whole thing became real only after word reached the SS of the pentagon hit.

At which point they hustled Bush into a waiting car and took him to the airport. When he took off in AF One Bush even refused the local Air Nat'l Guard F-16 escort -- insisting instead that a Texas Air National Guard unit rendezvous with him and provide him with protection. In fact the Texas unity acccompanied Bush to Offutt -- then later in the day accompanied him back to Washington.

It's clear that from the time Bush left the school -- shortly after 9:30 AM -- his SS handlers behaved as if there was a real threat to Bush's person -- in sharp contrast to their lackadaisical attitude earlier.

This is very weird and it's never been explained -- certainly not by the 911 Com Report.
