Default At Red Rocks Last Night The Killers Play A 3 1/2 Min Show!!!!

So were any of you guys up there? What a joke! Halfway into the 2nd song Brandon Flowers walked off stage with voice problems. The scene after the show was not good, beer bottles tossed, fights in the lots, no word of a refund.

After he left the stage the band played on for a few min. with us in the crowd trying to figure out what was going on. 5 min. later a Red Rocks rep came to the Mic. and informed us he would be out in short time and that the doctor was looking at him. As the crowd grew more frustrated while waiting the drummer walked out alone about 15 min later and said the show would be made up in September. Orangemaner anthonypachino was with me as we played security gaurds and got the ladies out of there (one who is with child).
I'm shocked that this did not turn into a full on riot!

Ha the lead singer of the Killers is so full of himself I wouldn't half expect this to be a I'm not feeling it tonight so lets say my voice pooped out type of deal. I am glad I didn't pay money for that show.

If Coldplay ever comes to Red Rocks again I highly recommend seeing them. They had an amazing show there.

I know one person who's dealt with the band and said they couldn't have been nicer or more humble. But, if your voice is bad, you should generally know before you go on stage. Maybe he thought he could get through it.

Bummer to hear. They're supposed to play the KROQ Weenie Roast this Saturday. (Massive concert here in LA.)

Speaking of live music, I went to a rap concert last night. A few fights and one small riot, but the show went on as advertised. Good times had by all.

Sorry to hear about your Killers deal though. Like somebody said, if your voice is bad, you should cancel the show first, because with a mass of people like that liquored up and angry, that scene can turn real ugly.

Funny how they had all day to get this straight or call off the show. All of us were in line at 4:00 and he sounded fine for the 30 min sound check!!!! Seems a bit odd.

Well hopefully he is a standup guy and replays the concert. Won't be for a while as Red Rocks is booked pretty solid by this time.

That sucks when **** like this happens. I remember a couple of years ago, aerosmith was going to the pepsi center, then steven tyler got bronchitis or somthing and they had to cancel. They changed the date, but I couldn't make the new date. What's worse is that they have been on tour a couple of times after their last visit, but havn't come to colorado. Also, Im pretty sure they just released some tour dates and colorado is not on the list. It sucks when you can't see one of your favorite bands.

Im going up to see Incubus at red rocks in july. It will be my fist time going to red rocks and Im pretty excited. Hopefully everything will go smoothly with them.

Instead of concerning themselves with refunds, the fans at this show should worry about a bigger problem: Why do they listen to ****ty music? J/K

/not really

Their last record was pretty good. New one is good, but they should be sending Bruce Springsteen royalty checks. MAN, do they borrow from him.
