He joined Kansas City in a trade from Tennessee on April 6, 2005, in exchange for a fifth-round pick in the 2005 NFL Draft after playing his first three professional seasons with the Titans.

Selected by Tennessee in the seventh round (240th overall) of the 2002 NFL Draft, Hall has played 59 career games (33 starts) and totaled 228 tackles (139 solo), 14.5 sacks (55.5 yds.), nine pass breakups, four forced fumbles and two fumble recoveries.

He would be a very talented if he could stay healthy. He was injured all the time when he was in KC. He really couldn't get through a single game without some sort of injury.

Darrell Hackney, QB: He’ll wear No. 4, which he donned at at UAB.
Brandon Stokley, WR: The Broncos issued him No. 14. He has never worn a number outside of the 80s in his NFL career until now, but wore this number to great acclaim back at Louisiana-Lafayette. It was retired from UL-L annals after he completed his four years there with 241 receptions for 3,702 yards and 25 touchdowns while becoming the first player in Division I-A annals to average 100 receiving yards per game for his career.

Glenn Martinez, WR: Will wear No. 17. He wore No. 87 for the Rhein Fire in 2005 and Nos. 12 and 84 for the Detroit Lions in recent years.
Paul Smith, FB: Will wear No. 26. He’s been all over the map, donning jersey No. 27 in San Francisco, 40 in Detroit and 31 in St. Louis.
Troy Fleming, FB: Jersey number 35. He donned 44 with the Tennessee Titans and had No. 27 at the University of Tennessee.

ENGLEWOOD, Colo. — The Denver Broncos on Tuesday signed 10 players to future contracts, Head Coach Mike Shanahan announced. Fullback Troy Fleming, quarterback Darrell Hackney, defensive end Carlos Hall, linebacker T.J. Hollowell, punter Eddie Johnson, tight end Teyo Johnson, guard Kevin McAlmont, cornerback Lamont Reid, tackle Jacob Rogers and linebacker Cameron Vaughn officially will be added to Denver’s roster at the end of the 2006 NFL season in February.

Troy Fleming (6-foot-0, 245 pounds) is a third-year fullback who spent the 2006 regular season out of football after Tennessee waived him Sept. 2. Fleming, who was selected by the Titans in the sixth round (191st overall) of the 2004 NFL Draft, played 29 career games (2 starts) in two years with Tennessee. He has totaled seven rushes for 40 yards (5.7 avg.) and 29 receptions for 233 yards (8.0 avg.) with three touchdowns while returning 19 kickoffs for 325 yards (17.1 avg.). Fleming started 26 of 46 games played at the University of Tennessee after attending Battle Ground Academy High School in Franklin, Tenn. He was born Oct. 1, 1980.

Darrell Hackney (6-foot-0, 240 pounds) is a first-year quarterback who spent his rookie season in 2006 out of the NFL after Cleveland waived him Sept. 2. Hackney entered the NFL with the Browns as a college free agent on May 5 after finishing his career at the University of Alabama-Birmingham as the school’s all-time leader in career passing (9,886 yds.). Hackney played 41 career games (38 starts) at UAB, completing 694-of-1,246 (55.7%) passes for 9,886 yards with 71 touchdowns and 33 interceptions. He was a first-team All-Conference USA choice as a senior in 2005 after leading the conference in passer rating (144.5) and total offense (298.6 ypg.). Hackney attended Douglass High School in Atlanta and was born Aug. 7, 1983.

Hollowell, who was first signed by the Broncos on July 8, has appeared in six career regular-season games in stints with the New York Jets in 2005 and with the New York Giants in 2004. He also was on Miami’s active roster in 2005 and saw time on the Bears’ practice squad that season. A standout at the University of Nebraska, Hollowell entered the NFL with the Giants as a college free agent on April 30, 2004. He attended Copperas Cove High School in Copperas Cove, Texas, and was born April 8, 1981.

Eddie Johnson (6-foot-3, 236 pounds) is a second-year punter who spent the 2006 regular season out of the NFL after Washington waived him Aug. 30. Johnson competed in Jacksonville’s training camp in 2005 and was in the Bengals’ camp in 2004 but spent those regular seasons out of the NFL after he was waived in final roster cutdowns. He entered the NFL as a college free agent with Minnesota on April 27, 2003, and totaled 56 punts for 2,191 yards (39.1 net avg. / 32.6 gross avg.) with 12 punts placed inside the 20 in 14 games with the Vikings as a rookie. A two-time all-conference selection at Idaho State University, Johnson attended Newport Harbor High School in Newport Beach, Calif., and was born March 2, 1981.

Teyo Johnson (6-foot-6, 245 pounds) is a fourth-year tight end who spent the 2006 regular season out of football after Miami waived him Sept. 2. Selected by Oakland in the second round (63rd overall) of the 2003 NFL Draft, Johnson played his first two professional seasons with the Raiders and spent the 2005 campaign with Arizona. He has played 30 career games (9 starts) and totaled 26 receptions for 288 yards (11.1 avg.) with three touchdowns. A former wide receiver at Stanford University who also competed on the school’s basketball team, Johnson graduated from Mira Mesa High School in San Diego and was born Nov. 29, 1981.

Kevin McAlmont (6-foot-1, 320 pounds) is a first-year guard from Western Carolina University who spent the 2006 regular season out of football after the New York Giants waived him Sept. 2. McAlmont, who entered the NFL with the Giants as a college free agent on June 6, played 38 career games (29 starts) at Western Carolina and was a second-team All-Southern Conference selection in 2005. McAlmont, who played defensive tackle during his first collegiate season, attended Creekside High School in Union City, Ga., and was born July 24, 1984.

Lamont Reid (5-foor-11, 195 pounds) is a second-year cornerback who spent the 2006 regular season out of the NFL after Arizona waived him Sept. 3. Reid, who played collegiately at North Carolina State University, entered the NFL with the Cardinals as a college free agent on May 2, 2005. He played 10 games (1 start) with Arizona as a rookie in 2005, posting 16 tackles (all solo) and six special-teams stops. Reid appeared in 47 career games at North Carolina State, totaling 125 career tackles (88 solo) and two interceptions while returning 38 kickoffs for 984 yards (28.9 avg.) with two scores. Reid attended Central Cabarrus High School in Concord, N.C., and was born May 4, 1982.

Jacob Rogers (6-foot-6, 312 pounds) is a third-year tackle who most recently spent the 2005 season on injured reserve with Dallas. Selected by the Cowboys in the second round (52nd overall) of the 2004 NFL Draft from the University of Southern California, Rogers played two games (0 starts) as a rookie with the club. He was a consensus All-American as a senior at USC, where he was a three-year starter. Rogers was a first-team All-Pacific-10 Conference selection as a senior and received the conference’s Morris Trophy as its top offensive lineman. Rogers attended Oxnard High School in Oxnard, Calif., and was born Aug. 17, 1981.

Cameron Vaughn (6-foot-4, 241 pounds) is a first-year linebacker who spent his rookie year in 2006 on the Broncos’ practice squad. Vaughn entered the NFL with Denver as a rookie free agent on May 3 after playing at Louisiana State University. A three-year starter, Vaughn appeared in 52 career games (33 starts) for the Tigers and totaled 239 tackles (121 solo) along with seven sacks (44 yds.). He was LSU’s starting middle linebacker as a senior in 2005 and led the team with 83 tackles (46 solo). Vaughn attended Archbishop Shaw High School in Marrero, La., and was born Feb. 27, 1984.

Fullback Thump Belton, cornerback Eric Hill, wide receiver Glenn Martinez and guard Doug Nienhius officially will be added to Denver’s roster at the end of the 2006 NFL season in February. Thump Belton (6-foot-0, 232 pounds) is a third-year fullback who spent the final four weeks of the 2006 regular season on Denver’s practice squad after the club signed him Dec. 7. Belton competed in Chicago’s training camp this season and spent the 2005 campaign on the Bears’ practice squad. He entered the NFL with Detroit as a college free agent on April 30, 2004, and was on the Lions’ practice squad for most of his rookie year. In two years at Syracuse University following his transfer from Northwest Mississippi Community College, Belton posted 327 yards on 61 carries (5.3 avg.). He attended West Charlotte High School in Charlotte, N.C., and was born June 1, 1981. Eric Hill (6-foot-0, 190 pounds) is a first-year cornerback who spent the final nine weeks of the 2006 regular season on Carolina’s practice squad after the club signed him Nov. 1. Hill, who entered the NFL with Indianapolis as a college free agent on May 3, 2004, spent time on the Colts’ practice squad during his rookie season as well as in 2005. He also appeared on the Bears’ practice squad in 2005. Hill competed as a wide receiver at Colorado State University, playing 41 career games and totaling 33 receptions for 545 yards (16.5 avg.) with three touchdowns. Hill attended Montbello High School in Denver and was born May 22, 1980. Glenn Martinez (6-foot-1, 183 pounds) is a second-year wide receiver who saw time on Detroit’s practice squad during the 2006 regular season. Martinez played all five career games (0 starts) with the Lions in 2005, posting one reception for 11 yards and returning two kickoffs for 42 yards (21.0 avg.). Martinez, who was allocated to NFL Europe’s Rhein Fire in 2005, entered the NFL with Pittsburgh as a college free agent on May 6, 2004, but spent his rookie year out of the league after the Steelers waived him on Sept. 3, 2004. He finished his career at Saginaw Valley State University ranked third in school history in career receiving yards (2,663) and fourth in career receptions (136). Martinez attended Auburndale High School in Auburndale, Fla., and was born Nov. 30, 1981. Doug Nienhius (6-foot-6, 307 pounds) is a second-year guard who spent the final 10 weeks of the 2006 regular season on Denver’s practice squad after the club signed him Oct. 24. Nienhuis competed in the New York Jets’ 2006 training camp and saw time on Houston’s practice squad this year before joining the Broncos. Selected by Seattle in the seventh round (254th overall) of the 2005 NFL Draft, Nienhuis played all seven career regular-season games with the New York Jets during the 2005 season. Nienhuis was a two-time All-Pacific-10 Conference selection at Oregon State University and finished his collegiate career with 38 consecutive starts. He attended Woodridge High School in Irvine, Calif., and was born Feb. 16, 1982.
