Who is this Carlos Boozer guy and where has he been hiding? Jeezus, they guy is scoring at will, rebounding, dunking, blocking shots and stealing the ball.
He's this years Dwayne Wade, at least in these playoffs. I kept on thinking: "Why is this guy constantly making plays and who is he?" I don't follow the NBA closely till the playoffs, but this guy is a man on a mission. He's simply putting the Jazz on his back. ![]() |

Is Lebron and the Cavs still in the playoffs? Oh yeah, they are. I can't even think of what is going on in their series against the Nets. Its like its not even happening. |

Yes still in the playoffs. But where could they be if boozer was still there putting up 30 for the team? Could have taken them to the championship, but your right Lebron needs no help to bring home the ring. Cuz he's got 2 already....oh sorry he's only got one....oh wait he has none! Not hating on Lebron but all you hear about is his supporting cast and when boozer went to Utah he was pissed! If you don't think Lebron would still like to have him on his team your crazy

Mock don't jump on the banwagon now we don't need you here in utah. Boozer played in McDonalds high school game from Alaska and that was the first time I saw him. Played good at duke and dropped to second round and I was screaming for Utah to trade up and take him. Utah got him in a controversial move for Carlos but I can't blame him for taking the money while you can. Deron Williams will be a top pt guard in next couple years and all of you who made fun of Utah after his rookie season (which wasn't that bad) will be eating crow.

See, NBA personnel men are all looking for guards that are Kobe clones and "bigs" that are Kevin Garnett. And since there aren't clones of guys like that, they zero in on the measurables and become enamored with "upside" and vertical leap. Booze didn't have those but he's improved his jump shooting, and he's worked hard. Result: He's still playing while a whole lotta guys who can jump out of the gym are watching at home. It doesn't hurt that he has DWill feeding him either. It's fun to be a Jazz fan again. |

Boozer is from Juneau Alaska. While at Duke, he played out of position at center. He was a second round pick. I believe he was injured early in his NBA career. Obviously he's healthy now.

All you really need to know is Boozer is a stud. He has been in and out of injuries for the first two years in Utah, but he stepped up his game this year when he has been healthy. He has been amazing this postseason. He played horrible i the first game, then took on Barkley's challenge to step up and has. He is a guy that you will hear about for the next ten years (along with Deron Williams) as long as there are no injuries. Boozer has the perfect mix of size, strength, athletecism, and energy. He has been as consistent a player as there has been this year, and even more in the playoffs.

Well, the truth has a tendency too come out eventually, you know. It's pretty damn scummy to lie to a blind man (okay, a very wealthy blind man), begging him to opt out of a contract so you can sign a bigger one with the same team, then bailing and leaving the team high and dry. Sure, Gund was foolish to trust Boozer. He should have said, "sorry kiddo, we're running a business here and we have to protect our assets". But he decided to take Boozer for his word. And now the world knows how much Boozer honors his word.
Sorry, I'm sure you're tired of hearing it, but it's true. He didn't just bolt for more money when he had a chance like every athlete would do, he lied and manipulated to get the chance earlier than others would have. He would have eventually gotten his money, so there's no basis for the old "everyone would have done it" argument. Nope, only Boozer has done it like that. Very good player is Boozer. And a pure dirt bag, to the core. But hey, he's not the only talented dirt bag athlete, so don't take it personally. |

Well Cavs were stupid to even let him out of it so they should blame themselves. The Jazz and several other teams were interested in him and Cleveland could of matched the offer sheet but it would of resulted in cutting several players but it looks now as that is what they should of done. Boozer took a 28 Million more to sign with the Jazz and I can't say I wouldn't do it either. That is almost 75 percent more and in a business where you can get hurt seriously you should get money when you can and he did.

Both sides were at fault for working to their own self interest, though I find Boozer moreso. Oh well, Jazz fans just better hope he stays healthy. |

No doubt the Cavs were stupid. But you know, if a con man preys on people's stupidity, does that make what he does okay? Not that Boozer should be placed in that category, but he firmly belongs in some sort of category of unscrupulousness. If you would have no conscience about lying to and screwing over people to fill your own pockets, and justify it by saying, "well they were fools for believing me", then hey, let's just say we have a little ethical disagreement.
