Default NFL | Eric Swann attempting a comeback

Darren Urban, of the East Valley Tribune, reports former NFL DT Eric Swann (Panthers) is attempting to comeback. He said he has yet to be cleared by doctors after multiple knee surgeries, but he has been training since January.
----------------

Back in the 95-96 Shanny had a major hard on for Swann. He had a trade setup with the Cards, involving Sharpe, but the Cards backed out at the last second. Thankfully they did the Broncos a favor!

But I wonder if Shanny would take a shot at the Swann today?

Why not? We've done it in the past with RBs. Besides, we need depth there.

Swann was overrated during his time anyway. I think the best performance I ever saw him in was a TNT televised 1995 preseason game against the Bears.
