Spiderman 3
I saw an advance screening today, I thought I'd share my thoughts.
Quote:
First things first. I went into this movie to see Venom. I got what I wanted. I got a lot more Venom time than I had thought I would. He rocked. Topher Grace did a pretty good job as Brock, too.
Now then, onto the bad parts.
You can seriously tell they were trying to make something out of nothing with the Peter/MJ romance plot. Really. Both of them were doing things that were highly illogical and completely unrealistic just to create Drama. It was extremely frustrating. A lot of the movie felt like I was watching a soap opera. It hurt. Deep. The actors did a decent job where they could, but the writers really had nowhere to go with the Peter/MJ plot, so they struggled, and it shows. Also, has any other movie tried to ram more life lessons down your throat? I think not.
There were some several humourous parts, especially the Bangs montage(You'll know what i mean if you see it), and Stan Lee's cameo was, well, random, but I liked it. I'll only recommend it if you love Venom like I do.
