I took my camera today, so here's a few scenes:

Downtown Seattle Library, Tredici's favorite building in town.

Lake Washington - east of town, connects to the Puget Sound by a canal.

Some tourist attraction

This is the best shot I could get of the sound, without actually stopping my car and getting out
You're looking due west - there's a tanker in the distance

The green arrow is your line of vision from downtown in the photo above.
The red star is the POV in the photo of Lake Washington (previous post).
You can see the canal leading to the sound.

Mount Ranier in the distance. Nice day, but a bit hazy.

A professional shot of the city

For some reason, I can just get lost in Google Maps satellite, and the new Microsoft one is even better.

Name that landmark (Hint: The SHADOW knows!)

I love this one ... Alec I think posted it recently

Okay I botched the pic ID two posts above. That was not really Lake Washington, that's the much smaller Lake Union - to the right of the red star, that star being where the picture was taken. From.

Lake Washington is obviously much, M U C H larger, as you can see to the right.

Lake Washington and Lake Union are 20 feet higher than sea level, so the red line is a set of
canals called the Ballard Locks. Claviculasolominus used to live there. Meanest process server
I ever hired, he wuz.

The green dots are the University of Washington. Shouldda made em purple I guess.

Ten years ago at the first Bronco SB victory parade.

AFC Championship vs. the Jets, my seats were in the South Stand and were only $50

Shanny riding the firetruck after the second SB win.

During the first parade 10 years ago, and yes ladies, it's a accurate measurement

I found these while digging through some stuff today, I can't believe it's been 10 years already.

Judging from your hairstyle and the car on your left it easily could be 1970

, The car isn't mine thank goodness, but the hair and glasses are. Damn those specs were large. The hair well, I've been combing it that way since I was 8, it's kinda wavy with a cowlick in the front so thats about all I can do with it besides cut it real short. Thats too funny.

Thanks but it's misleading, it's got a funny story though. The SC on the shirt is my alma matter The University of Southern Colorado. I was gonna play baseball at either Otero Junior College or USC. I stayed in La Junta, (OJC) cause my girl at the time was still in HS there. The coach didn't offer any scholarships to the locals and we quickly found out he only wanted us around for practice against his varsity team full of Californians and New Mexico kids. I left the school after the first semester, broke up with the girl and had some adventures.

When I settled down a few years later I went back to school at SC in Pueblo. The coach there remembered me and when I worked in the SID's office I wrote the media guide for the Men's team and Girls Softball, I was a Mass Comm major and he would only allow me to do interviews with him since the rest of the staff weren't too friendly with him. So every year he put on a youth clinic/summer camp and he asked me to help out. So thats where the T-shirt comes from.

Lots of folks mistake it for Southern Cal, when they ask me where I went to school and I just blurt out USC. They have since changed the name of the school to Colorado State University at Pueblo, the folks in Ft. Collins were not happy. We had a different nickname for USC. On our financial aid sheet it asked you to put a list of schools you were applying for aid. #1 on my list was...Ohio State, but I knew that wasn't gonna happen, USC was #2 cause it was the University of Second Choice.

, Those parades were nuts, to this day I still haven't been involved with that large of a crowd outside a sports stadium. The first parade I went right to the park, it was shoulder to shoulder the whole time, you couldn't even move around to rest your feet, it was Feb and one side of my face was sunburned from standing in place so long. The second victory I watched the parade. I was also at the Avalanche parade, it was awesome as well, the players were drinking beer on top of the firetrucks some of the players weren't 21 yet either, they let you get so close to the truck you could slap hands with players.

Also if you own the Sports Illustrated John Elway tribute issue they put out when he retired in the section where they are talking about the Jets game there is a pic of a banner that says Thanks John, I'm under and behind the banner to the left. Me and my buddy were trying to watch John do the victory lap with the AFC trophy and this a$$hole put this banner right over my face!! I didn't know what it said, we were trying to pull it down when SI took the picture. If you look at my photo of the game you can see some of the same people in their pic.

ps. The kid in the front was Joe, when we played super heroes he always wanted to be Zorro or Darth Vader
