Obama by far, the more articulate and informed out of this bunch. Edwards & Biden next.

What I found interesting is that Richardson flat out declared pull all of the
troops out of Iraq right now. No time table or other dilly-dallying about.

Interesting that everyone seemed to gang up on Obama. At this point there is one and only one Democrat capable of getting my vote (Obama). Just the fact that he makes the ingrained politicians around him so incredibly uncomfortable says something to me. Maybe he really IS different.

It was interesting to listen to the talking heads afterwards. Most didn't
care for the way Obama presented himself. One likened Obama to an
empty suit, looks good, but no substance. They seemed to
think Obama blew it, especially on the question of what would he do if
two US cities were attacked by terrorist. OTOH they seemed to be in love
with Clinton. They especially liked her answer to the question, where
she basically said she'd kick their asses.

While Obama did OK, just Okay though. Hillabroom and Biden, seasoned vets did the best. The rest, pretty much a waste of time. Just my humble opinion...dman

I think that's going to be the mantra for this election, that he has no substance. Well maybe the substance THEY are looking at isn't what the American public wants anymore. They had a poll on MSN and the American public that voted thought Obama did the best job. One blog didn't like the fact that Obama wouldn't say how he would handle health care. Why in the hell should Obama shoot from the hip a year and half before the election? I would prefer it's thought out before lipped out.

Although I liked the substance of Richardson the best, he disappointed me by struggling to articulate himself on par with his peers, and failing to wrap up his point before being cut off on several occasions. Richardson and Biden are still my two personal favorites because they have the most pragmatic approaches and are thoughtful intellectuals, but neither has a chance. I'll still vote for one of them in the primary, but of the legit contenders, Obama is the one I hope emerges.

No, I got the idea this is how they honestly felt. You had everybody from
left wingers like Oldbermann to right wingers like Scarborough pretty much
in agreement.

Besides, doesn't Carville mostly hang around on CNN? I haven't really
noticed him that much on MSNBC.

How does he still get air time? He's nutty too. Carville always reminded me of one of HR Giger's "Alien"

Because MSNBC actually is "Fair and Balanced"? They have right wings
nuts and left wing nuts, unlike Fox, which has just right wing nuts, and
CNN, where there are mostly left wing nuts.
