Officially, it's for a failed physical. The St. Petersburg Times cryptically says there are other "unofficial reasons" at play. Quarles still wants to play despite concussion problems. Barrett Ruud is now slated to start in the middle.

I really want Denver to sign a veteran player. SO they can wait until the 3rd round to take a LB and let him learn for a year or two.

For the right price bring him in yesterday. The guy is solid not great but solid. If he wants to play at the right price and passes the physical do it. If nothing else like Atlas said he would help with to many holes not enough picks/players.

He very well could be a short term answer while we groom his heir.

Dude this guy is beast(well I dont know) but he has posted 100+ the past 4 seasons! 100+ in only 12 games last year! Use him as a stop gag and groom a 3rd round linebacker to play our future SAM and move our beast DJ to the middle in the future. This guy could be a good stop gag.
