As far as which lot? I know what you mean about people being able to park near us, but the other lot fills up quick too, so there's no guarantee that everyone will get in that lot either. I'll check with Chicago Bronco Nation and post more later. Happy Thanksgiving. |

I think this falls under "no open flames"! These guys (police and parking officials) are real pricks according to Bears' fans. They're straight out of the No Fun League.

I'm not the best person to ask about bars downtown. I know Rush St. is the place to be downtown after 10 PM. They have an ESPN Zone on Ohio or GRand (I believe). |

Millers Pub in the loop is an awesome place to have a beer with out all the tourist type trappings. Not sure how late they are open and will may have to struggle with the dinner crowds. You have to try Gino's East Pizza on North side if your in town for one night, Uno's is Ok also, it is the original but I like Ginos better and yes "I love the Sausage patty" Also you must have an Italian Beef before you leave town. Parthanon (Sp?) in greek town is fun as is club Uvinka (sp?) I have only been there once. Out in the burbs by Ohare try Gibsons or Harry Carrays (I don't like harrys that much but it is a big tourist draw) Not originals but they are like them. Elmhurst has a great Italian place on York called Angelos. Not too far from Ohare. Stay off Manheim south of Ohare. Enjoy |

BroncoSteven is definitely right on the pizza. Gino's East downtown is the best. Deep dish with the sausage patty. Plus if you go to the bathroom you can check out the John Elway autographed photo!
Portillo's has good beef or combo sandwiches. |

Talked with Chicago Bronco Nation...
We are planning on the original tailgate spot on 31st St. - Lot B (marked by the old Bronco Logo.) We plan to be out there by 8:30 and will have a Bronco flag (maybe two) flying above our location just over the SUV. This lot will probably be filled by 11AM, if not earlier. Directions to this lot can be found on page 7 (post 165). According to a source, this lot is the only one that opens before 11:15 AM. We will be in the north portion of this lot as the southern section is used for semi trucks. Our emergency spot will be the orange painted lot on 31st St. and Cottage Grove. If you go to 31st St Lot B and they will not let you turn around to head back south, you will need to drive north under McCormick Place. There are streets under this building. Turn left on MC 7th. Turn left on Hines. Turn left on Mc 8th Dr. (which is outside). Then, turn right on Moe Dr. to go to 31st St. to get to an alternate spot. Also, you will probably need to walk along 31st St. to walk underneath the tracks to get to 31st St. Lot B. (There are no pedestrian crossings over the tracks that I am aware of.) Oh, and traffic always sucks. P.S. I apologize in advance for my artistic "talents". Last edited by Bronco Billy; 11-23-2007 at 11:32 PM.. |

This is the first year I have yet to see them win. 0-3! At least we were underdogs with the spread for all of them (Indy, Detroit, Chicago). I didn't kick to Hester and you can't blame me for the home games! When Shanny said that we'd have to watch the game to see if we'd kick to Hester, I thought that he wouldn't. He should have asked me before the game so I could have warned him! Unreal. |

I'm trying to get my memory card to work in the computer right now. I can't imagine that the freezing rain got to it. It's just tempermental right now. I really didn't take as many pics this time.
Yes, Julie and I had a great time tailgating. It was sunny and cold until about 12. Then, it was cloudy, windy, and colder. As always, it was great to see familiar friends - including Teddman and 12th Man (first time this season). Thank you Kevin (I Bleed Orange & Blue) for bringing the grill. Hawaii Guy pointed out before DenDave that I was winless this year, which I already knew. Part of Chicago Bronco Nation (the Chicago Bronco bar) came out in full colors and were really cool. In honor of Meck wearing shorts during the night game on Dec 17, 2005 @ Buffalo (and because Hawaii Guy told me to), I did wear shorts to this one. We were 2-1 in games that I wore shorts this year - figured it couldn't hurt. |
