Hell yes. ACTUALLY, me and my buddy both are currently checking out employment opportunities in and around Indy. We loved it THAT much. It's not a boomiong metropolis, but if ya love what some bigger cities have to offer w/o all the congestion, etc...Indy seems to be the right place. The fans were top notch and very hospitable. I have planned an additional trip in Nov to see Indy kill KC...and I wanna show my wife the city.

If your taking the wife to the city, there's a fine eating establishment about 30 miles north in Tipton, IN called Sherrill's Eat and Get Gas!!! Great tenderloin sandwiches!

Wow, pics definately turned out better than the game. Great time was had by all and my youngest can't stop talking about all the fun she had. Look forward to the next gathering of the midwest clan!

Mo, you are everywhere for the tailgates! Looked like you guys had the parking lot to yourselves. When the game doesnt go as planned, it is always good to have a memorable tailgate.

How true, we really are kind of the midwest clan for tailgates. It's amazing when you travel outside the midwest how many more people you meet, bt each region / city seems to have its "core" tailgaters.

Although I'd put Atwater27 in East / Midwest, and Hawaii_Guy is All-World with 55-straight games?! You'll see him in Japan or London if the Broncos ever play there.

Well...with us in New England, NYJ, Carolina and Atlanta in 2008 and in Philly, Washington and Bmore in 2009...you'll see how much of an eastern fan I can be. Also in Cincy in 2009 and @ an AFC North opponent in 2008.

That's the first team I've seen Billy without the warpaint. He looks like a young Butkus. Definitely a ballplayer in his younger days.

27atwater,

Yeah, had to pay full freight for the little one, total rip since they have bleacher seating in the upper level of the RCA dome. I'm sure they need the revenue for the new place next door. All the ticket revenue in the world won't change the biggest bandwagon fan base I've ever seen (worse than St. Louis Rams fans, if that's possible). Hawaii Guy and I agreed that w/in a few years of Manning's retirement we will be talking about your Billings Montana Colts and the new dome in Indy will be dedicated to tractor pulls and John Cougar Mellonhead concerts.

Unless the scheduling is really unfavorable for us, we will definitely be in New England next year, probably the AFC North game, and hopefully one more. But, I'm getting ahead of mself as we still have this season to worry about!

Thanks Crow! That's the nicest thing you've ever said to me! It makes up for the "third nipple" comment last year!!! I was DT and the punter in high school and a cheerleader in college.

Actually, it's my brother-in-law, Jim. (He just registered on the 'Mane as "Moose".) He was wearing his Bears jersey for the 12:00 game, but switched to a McCaffrey away jersey before heading to the stadium. In hind sight, the Bears defense collapsed in the 4th Qtr as soon as he put the Bronco jersey on over the Urlacher one!

Yeah, Julie's younger brother. We picked him up at U. of Illinois before heading to Indy. He's studying Sports Management. I figured a real tailgate would be good for him in case he ever had to design a parking lot!

Actually, my friend Mack (McAllister) who wearing the gray shirt by your grill in the top pic of post #306 (far right). (Remember, the one with the veggie burgers that you thought would destroy your grill! ) He's a sports agent in Indy. We were talking about getting Jimmy an internship there, plus catching up on old times. He played DE with me in HS before eventually going onto the Scottish Claymores. They said he was too slow for the NFL.
