There are two red Lions...and I think everyone is pretty much scattered...
The Red Lion on Bryant is right next to Invesco...(well, across the parking lot) If you can stand the heat! ! |

We've only stayed at the Red Lion and dang...can never remember...The .... Blue, Hogan help me out here?
! Anyway, the Red Lion, Like I said, is great location-wise...but their central air/heating system is screwy...woke us up at 3:30 am game day with it about 100 degrees in the room...we never did get back to sleep. |

The Warwick! Which, I thought was nice...was within walking distance of the 16th St. Mall but the restaurant was a little more upscale and pricey. We much prefer the "round" bar at the top of the Red Lion...pretty good food, too!

As for the price..well, a lot of them are getting that way...the Red Lion isn't exactly cheap...just cheaper! But it is when you figure in the price of a cab or renting a car...it's all about location! |

If you need transportation right before the game (if you happen to miss tailgating), take one of the RTD buses which have 28 locations throughout the city. It is $8.00 per person round trip and the buses park on the South Side of Invesco. They usually depart from each location around 11:45am until 1:15pm.

Just got my tickets for the Rockies game Sat. night. 2 rows behind 3rd base dugout! I'm pretty stoked never been to a MLB game. Plus my buddy in Denver got the tickets for free.

from downtown (you know, where you meet your ladies of the evening) and hit federal and turn right. Parking at the homes on 13th street is around $20 . Sassy or STG, some of us might need one of those parking passes if avialable. |

The Red Lion's Skybox bar has a pretty cool view of the city/Stadium and the food is above average for it being Pub fare. They'd better have fixed that thermostat problem though or we'll be staying somewhere else next year. |
