Not sure if he posted this news here, didn't see but if he did, sorry. . .
(NO LINK) Soliai Moving Up? The word in scouting circles has DT Paul Soliai making a move up draft boards. Sources have told us they feel the University of Utah product could be drafted in the late part of round two. Considering the poor crop of talent available at defensive tackle this year, that may just be possible. Soliai has visits set up this week with the Denver Broncos and Cleveland Browns. Denver and Cleveland both have needs for a young, developmental type of tackle yet they use different defensive schemes (Denver/4-3, Cleveland/3-4). |

Yea one of these days he is going to draft the one he has been really wanting and it will start the process all over. I have to say I have never seen this kid so I am pretty clueless. (totally off topic Ricky Williams is on total access this morning and dude is pretty dang weird).

Paul Soliai is a monster that is extremely raw. Same thing with Ikaika Alama-Francis.
Both have played their positions for just a few years but seem to be very talented and capable of making a difference pretty quick at the next level. They are late day skilled already, with Major upside. High risk picks early, but great developmental choices on day two IMHO. Soliai would be the best DT prospect that I have seen for this draft for Bates scheme. By that, I mean he could get some snaps in a rotation for experience but he is not ready for Full time duty. In a year or so, he could be a very good 2 gap DT. |

Nothing surprises me with Shanahan. We could take a QB and Corners for all I know.
