This is unbelievable.

This is unreal...a German "Animal Activist" wants a baby Polar Bear cub taken down because his mother rejected him.

Hello...maybe he can see the hand that feeds him. He's licking the feeder on the Colbert Repor...

This isn't the wild. The comment as I remember it was that "He would of died in the wild"....well, he WASN'T being fed in the wild.

Animals rejecting young because of confinement is very common. The little bear is up there licking the handlers face and obviously has been adoped. He's not going into the wild regardless. It's a freakin' zoo. This PC stuff has gone so over the top it's incredible.

You can debate the capture of endangered animals, but once in captivity, advocating their demise is repulsive to me. It would be like taking Beezer out to the farm to fend for himself off mice.

For some so called expert, he doesn't know that mothers often abandon offspring born in captivity. You can't put him back into the wild now. Some of this stuff just boggles the mind.

This is an old old story already. The polar bear "knut" already has worldwide fame including two songs about him (one called "knut is cute") and a gummy bear named after him
