Just a quick poll on how maner's choose to watch bronco games. I seem to be getting where I hate watching games with people and for sure other teams fans.

Home with the family is the only place, well unless I get to go to the game.

Mostly at home alone. Sometimes my mom will try to come in and act like she cares and is a Broncos fan but I try to hint to her just to return to LSU lol. When games aren't televised, I go to my coach's sports restaurant/bar, sometimes alone, sometimes with my dad, sometimes with a friend. Alone is usually best because my dad doesn't follow the NFL much and my friend doesn't know that much about the Broncos, he just spends the whole time yelling "They're done, Jake sucks" and calling Scheffler "Schlelly" or something haha. It occasionally results in me hitting him and telling him to STFU. I like watching alone the best because I can concentrate but if I had Broncos friends, I might like it better but I'm kind of tense during games.

i try to watch alone. fewer variables that way. Like if my wife is watching and denver is winning...all is cool. If she gets up to do sumthin and sumthin bad happens, she is now forced back in front of the TV.
I still swear that Michael Dean Perry's flag vs jax was not due to his laziness, but due to the fact that my dog got off of my couch. |

I try to watch alone, as well. My wife hates football.
Alone on the couch with a few beers is the best......it allows you to watch the game uninterrupted. It's the only 3 hours during the week where I can be totally by myself, with something I truly enjoy (besides my kids)...... Anyway, I'm in Mass surrounded by Pats fans.....so no one wants to watch Broncos games with me anyway....... |

I don't watch Bronco games with friends. I get really intense during the game. I love Sunday's and watching other football games with friends, but Bronco games are a solo event for me.

I started with 6 or 7 people and now I have one friend and 2 of the three kids that watch with me. I don't know why people think talking during a game is OK, or going in front of the TV 100 times, or saying one thing negative and breaking karma. Bronco games are a faith based event, and you don't mess with religion. I suppose I am a *sshole, but that's the way it goes.

It pretty much is, a friend of mine bought a tv last year and spend 450 on a non hdtv, now i know not everyone is so high on hd but, if he wont of spend another 200 he could of bought a decent hd and be able to watch all of those bronco games on a clearer screen. |

I am going to try to put up a Sunday type of Bronco thing this year for away games. It'll be about potluck food and the Broncos game. No direct ticket...no flipping the channel.

I almost always watch alone!!!! I don't like watching with anyone I get so upset sometimes. That and other people just aren't into like I am they distract me from watching as closely as I like to. This includes using tivo to re-watch plays during commericals. Having 3 tvs set up at a time with Broncos on my 55 inch big screen HDTV. I may be wrong on all my assesments of the game but it's not because I'm not watching really close thats for sure. I will sometimes go back and re-watch a game only looking at one player im interested in etc etc. Trust me when I did this for Foster I was aghast at how awful he really is. Some fans just notice when a player gives up a really bad play. IE FOSTER LETTING CUTLER GET RUNG UP IN SAN FRAN. But when you watch close you will see them getting dominated often even on plays that are successful.

Alone or with one or two family members usually...conversation is always game based so it's not a problem. The Buffalo/Denver matchups are mini events at my household and attract the most family members (they're all Bills fans save for my oldest Brother who's into the Giants).
The very worst place is in the bar...too much noise, too many 20 something smack talking azzholes, too much bullshat for general game enjoyment. Anymore for a Broncos game, it's simply not an acceptable option. |

When I go to college, I'm going to get a really nice HDTV for myself. Costco has those Vizios, pretty cheap and good quality as well. My family bought one for the LSU NC game, 03/04, but it was pretty advanced for the time and had some troubles adapting to the comcast and stuff. It's a great picture though, 55 inches, DLP I think. Problem is we only have about 15 HD channels.
