My brother had a nasty habit as a little kid of picking at scabs and eating them. He caught hell. Of course, he wasn't on national television.

When I took driver's ed at Gove Jr. High, this kid sitting in full view of everyone would pick 'em, park 'em on his shirt collar, and then eat 'em about 10 minutes later.

The whole class was rollin' but he was oblivious. It was surreal.

My sister and I made a grading scale when we were kids... a way to quantify a nasty booger.... from 1-10. Size, consistancy, blood, and nasal hair were the judged catagories. A 10 had to be huge, mixed snotty / boogery, with a blood tinge, and hairy. Extra points if you wiped it on someone. My wife was not amused the first time I explained in detail, and followed up with a demonstration...
