Alright, I know this is somewhat of an annual thread, and maybe somewhat played out, but i've been thinking about Beer alot lately. Give us some of your favorites, local, national, worldwide, whatever. Here, i'll give you my top five:
1) Long Trail Blackberry Wheat(Long Trail, brewed here in Vermont) 2) Sierra Nevada Pale Ale 3) Blue Moon Belgian White 4) Guinness 5) Strohs (yeah I know, I don't think they brew it anymore, but this was the beer that "ruined" my youth, it's here for nostalgic purposes) ![]() |

Beck's or Milwalkee's Best Ice.
Actually, altho regular Best and Best light are undrinkable, Ice is the same as IceHouse. We used to get these mini-kegs of Henniger. Call it a 40 on steroids. Last edited by watermock; 03-29-2007 at 04:20 PM.. |

There are still a few small Minnesota breweries that survive up there that are pretty good. I haven't treked up across the border in awhile but there is one brand that this guy I know vaguely will make a specific trip to get a few cases. Starts with an L. Did anyone hear of the world's first ever Chief Beer Officer or CBO? He just rang in Wall Street this week.

Oldest trick in the book...after an all nighter with people passed out and empty cans strewn...take a whizz in a can, drop in a couple butts and throw it into the fridge. Trust me, someone will get up and want to take the edge off and grab it.
People literally fall down in tears. Remember Dumb and Dumber when the cop drank piss after they said it wasn't beer? |
