Miami-trade**- Jamarcus Russell- Miami has a new coach, How about a new QB 5. Arizona-Joe Thomas-Lienart needs some beef, Leonard Davis was a bust, let's try Thomas 6. Washington- Gaines Adams- Skins crave a pass rush, Adams provides it 7. Minnesota -Jamal Anderson-The defensive end grab is on Uh Oh Bronocs!!!!!!!! 8. Detroit- from houston- Laron Landry- Millen finally gets it right, gets the stud safety. 9. Tampa Bay-from miami- Alan Branch- they wanted Calvin Johnson go defense instead 10.Atlanta -Dwayne Bowe-It may be a bit of a reach, but with Landry gone the try and get a playmaker 11. San Francisco -Omobi Okoye- They upgrade the dline with the young talented big man 12. Buffalo -Marshawn Lynch-They wanted Peterson, settle for the number 2 RB on the board 13. Cincinnati-Adam Carriker-Broncos choices thinning out for dend. Cincy sees him as versatile 19. Tennessee -Dwayne Jarrett-Vince young needs targets The wr in Tennesee are average. 20. NY Giants -Joe Staley-The need oline and hes been climbing boards 21. Denver -Jarvis Moss-Broncos dont worry about the suspension he had, Bates loves him!!! 22. Dallas -Reggie Nelson-The pair him up with Roy Williams 23. Kansas City -Tedd Ginn JR- Is he another Dante Hall? Chiefs hope he is much much more 24. New England (from Seattle)-Leon Hall-Just in case Asante isnt worth it, but is he fast enough? 25. NY Jets Anthony Spencer-Best D end left on Board 26. Philadelphia- Lawerence Timmons-Dahani Jones stinks, Trotter getting old, Timmons plays fast 27. New Orleans-Chris Houston-NO feels lucky to get a good corner this low. He flat out flys 28. New England-Brandon Merriweather-Harrisons injuries and age mounting together 29. Baltimore-Micheal Bush-Maybe a bit early but hes big and fast, jamal lewis's replacement 30. San Diego-Sydney Rice-The team has it all, but they need playmakers at WR 31. Chicago-Tony Ugoh-Bears oline old and lacks depth. This kid could be really good 32. Green Bay won't go after a WR with or without Moss. They still have Driver, Jennings, and Ferguson in the mix. Too many other needs for a first round WR, though that slot is about where Meachem *should* go.
Moss is falling fast. I don't think the Broncos look his way anyhow. Too much like Lang, Dumerville, Ekuban, Engleberger. We need a little bulk at DE. You don't have Darelle Revis in your first round at all. He recently ran a 4.38 and a 4.41. He's considered the most physical CB in the draft. He could easily pass Leon Hall and be the first CB taken. Personally, I have Hall rated 3rd behind Revis and Houston, but I admit I still have the Rose Bowl fresh in my mind. I think Jarrett is going a little early, but who knows. If he runs in the 4.5's he'll go much earlier than that even. If he runs in the 4.7's (like some are saying) then he won't go until round 2. I don't think Michael Bush will sneak into the first round, and if he does it certainly won't be the Ravens taking him. I think you forgot they just trade a bunch of picks for Willis McGahee. It wouldn't make sense for them to take a RB anywhere during the first day, let alone the first round. All in all, I think you have some decent slottings and your top 10 could very well happen... trades and all! FWIW it's Dwayne Bowe not Bowie... perhaps just a typo. |

I know Slap doesn't care for him, but Joe Staley at #20 could very well happen too. The scouts have been drooling over him for a couple months now. He looked like Shiat at the Sr. Bowl, so who knows. All I know as that he's a hot topic amongst scouting circles right now and could very well go in front of Levi Brown...

If we take Moss over Nelson I'm going to be pissed.
We can find a good/decent DE in round 2 as that is where the depth is at in this draft. |

You know what I'd prob be a little bummed also. I love Nelson and we need a safety. But I choose what I thought Denver would do at that spot not really what I would do.

Moss = Dumervil with Issues.
Need big, solid DE in Rd 1. Moss will show up drunk an dwith a party in trail. No thanks. I'd take Nelson if that is how it came down. At least he is a player....... |

I'd prefer Nelson overall but, at least making an effort to upgrade DL is what we have all wanted Denver to do.

Does Bates really love Jarvis Moss? I'd be interested to see who else he likes.

SPeaking of Revis:
The results from Friday's pro day workout of Pitt Panther star CB Darrelle Revis are finally in. Revis, considered one of the top corners in the upcoming draft, ran two fast 40s in 4.41 and 4.39. He also notched a 38-inch vertical, a 10-foot-5 broad jump, a 4.08 short shuttle and a 6.56 three-cone drill. |

I'm guessing he loves him. A mock draft is about guessing who you think a team likes as much as hearing it from the horses mouth. Moss is explosive and athletic , not too big, which is how i see Bates liking his dends.
