Goofy Mock Draft of the Day - The Orange Mane

I thought we could have one thread for off the wall mocks. I'm going to restrict my entries and ignore the craziness posted on the myriad message boards and blogs. Only knuckleheads with actual websites will be considered.

Today's beauty comes from D.J. Boyer of DraftStock.com.

He gets off to a bad start, restoring Brady Quinn to second pick status. This is not totally impossible to imagine, given the imbecile in charge of the Lions, but the reasoning is worth a chuckle.

Joe Thomas will be the fans choice. The question here is was the trade for George Foster supposed to allow the team to take a true franchise QB? Quinn is far from a sure thing but he would be a better fit than Joey Harrington.

If they took Johnson with Okoye still on the board I would be looking for a new 37 inch lcd TV.

That line of reasoning on Foster is actually pretty common. People don't realize he sucks.

See Bryan Pinkston of DraftConnection says the same thing, and he also says we need a wide receiver at number one and calls us the Jaguars in the second round.
