There's DT news everywhere you look lately ... journeymen DTs are being signed all over as free agnecy is winding down a bit. Yet I haven't heard one word about Michael Myers.
What's up with that? Does he svck and we just don't realize it? |

Nobody wants Michael Myers. We need to find his replacement in the draft...

What do you expect he isn't very good and if he was good he wouldn't be an FA.

Apparently you guys are right - but very few of any people around here thought he was so bad as to be unworthy of the NFL.
On NFL Network and the web this morning, I noticed 10 or more mentions of DT news, including the Dolphins, the Eagles, the Bears signing Ian Scott while Tank Williams goes to jail, the Bucs nearly signing franchise player DT Charles Grant, the Chiefs signed TWO (Boone and Edwards), the Browns sign TWO (Robaire Smith and Shaun Smith away from Cincy). All in the past 24 hours. Some of these guys are veteran minimum contracts, and yet I haven't even seen Myers "visiting" anywhere. Anybody claiming they knew he was THAT bad will need to provide links to much earlier posts. I don't think anybody here knew he was that bad. |

He will latch on with some team eventually. Probaby something like a 4 year, 12 million deal before it is all said and done. |

Just a couple of weeks ago a number of posters here thought Myers was going to get a signing bonus in the neighborhood of 10 million.... I guess they were wrong. The guy is a journeyman DT at best, no by NFL standards "large payday" in his future.
PS: Tank was sentenced to 4 months |

He won't get 3 million a year bro!!. More like a 2 year deal worth 4 million at the most. I think he ends up back in Denver as a bkup.

plummershelper - my bad. I thought I saw that Scott had re-signed on the NFL Network crawl this morning, but there's nothing on Rotoworld or KFFL.
And Son-of-Lelo and cutthemdown, I diseagree with you ... I think Myers might be headed outta the league altogether. ZERO visits anywhere for a 2-year starter UFA is pretty bad, especially with journeymen DTs criss-crossing the country being wined and dined. I think we're looking at a Mario Fatafehi, Dorsett Davis, Luther Elliss, Monsanto Pope re-run. He might be outta the league this year. |

It's interesting that the Broncos have gone very quiet regarding a DT or DE.
Another 3 way trade before the draft? |
