Default Who the heck is Scott Phaydavong?

I've been perusing the NCAA stat files (http://web1.ncaa.org/d1mfb/mainpage.jsp?year=2006) looking for potential diamonds in the rough, small school sleepers, or other hidden gems we might find on draft day...just fun stuff to speculate on. Then I found this one...this is one for the oddball files...this guy is the ultimate overachiever...and I mean ULTIMATE. He makes "Rudy" from the movie look like an Adrian Peterson clone.

Scott Phaydavong, as you might guess...is Vietnamese...or Cambodian...or maybe Laotian...I couldn't tell you. But he's Asian anyway...that's weird enough considering he's a college running back...how many Vietnamese guys play football? Dat Nguen is the only one I can think of right now. Second, depending on what report you look at, he's somewhere between 5'6" and 158 lbs and 5'7" and 165 lbs...does it matter? This dude's 40 pounds short of being a small NFL running back...he's fly sized. A big puff of wind would blow him away. How's he putting up these kind of numbers? The kid's also just a junior so assuming he's staying in school...he's got a legit shot at roughly 6,500 yards rushing in his college career...unreal. Check out the eye popping stats on this kid...this looks like something from a flag football league, not college football...I know it's small school but come on!...this is nuts:

2004- 239 carries, 1539 yards, 6.4 ypc, 9 TD's
2005- 204 carries, 1550 yards, 7.6 ypc, 8 TD's
2006- 277 carries, 1613 yards, 5.8 ypc, 10 TD's

Totals: 715 carries, 4,702 yards, 6.6 ypc, 27 TD's

As impressive as all that is...it's not the MOST impressive number. That would be 0...as in ZERO FUMBLES. That's right...this guy's got ZERO fumbles in 715 carries and he's 200 pounds smaller than Big Daddy Wilkinson!!!

So is there ANY chance at all this guy makes an NFL roster as a punt return guy?...some kind of Dante Hall jitterbug who befuddles NFL special teams with his punt returns? Hall...BTW...is 30 POUNDS BIGGER than this kid. He hasn't even returend kickoffs it looks like. Would you sign this kid to a free agency deal and let him try NFL Europe to see if he gets killed or not?

It's probably a moot point...he's probably going to be a doctor or aerospace engineer...but could he play? Sounds crazy...but he's got to have SOME kind of talent to post those numbers.
