Stats wise? Up there. I expect him to get his 1,000th assist next year.
Depends on how long he can play. If he can play 3-4 more years, then he could be very high up in points.
If he keeps up the pace of 30 goals and 50 assists per season for 3 more years, his stats will roughly look like this:
Goals: 690
Assists: 1,120
Points: 1,810
I don't know a lot about hockey, but I do know that is one hell of a career.I also do not know how long guys typically play for, so I don't know if he can play 3 more years or not. As long as he plays one more year though, 600+ goals, 1,000+ assists and 1,600+ points, pretty damn good.

It wouldn't surprise me to see him play three more years and make a run at 700.

I would be thrilled if he finished ahead of Yzerman.

I'd be thrilled if he finished even with him. It'd be fitting.

I think he plays at least 3 more years. As I watched him last night it became obvious that he is very skilled at avoiding hits and conserving his energy until it is needed.

I hope he takes a serious run at 700. There's not a classier athlete in professional sports.

Records are made to be broken, just like Stastny breaking Selanne's record for points streak by a rookie.

WOw, I know nothing about Hockey but 894 goals seems like a lot of shooting. Whats that average per year? Per game?

Yeah...even when Roy set the wins record it was already clear that Brodeur was going to pass him sooner or later. They're both all time greats.

Although Roy did best Marty when they went head to head in 2001.
