Is India with their computer knowledge keeping Sanjaya Malakar in American Idol?

I would be willing to bet my beloved Broncos second round pick that Indians with their access to computer voting will keep Sanjaya in the running for the next few weeks.

well i would say that the one of the best if not best of the guys is already off: Rudi Cardinas. I hate idol cause it's so rigged. good thing he still has his AMAZING vocal jazz group: M-PACT. If you get a chance check them out. You will not be di

Stumbled on it once or twice on a lead in...thank god for remotes. I can't believe people here actually watch that crap. I guess it's addictive but man. It's so super lame. JMO.

i thought sundance was going to make it into the top 12 and that sanjaya was going home but was shocked when he actually made it, he killed he john mayar song

These guys just started voting for Sanjaya this week. He made it through without their help before... Apparently, he's got a pretty good fan base, though I doubt he makes it past this week.

When Sanjaya came out yesterday I thought it was Little Orphan Annie. I also think that Phil is creepy looking, like a molester. My favorite is Melinda followed closely by Lakisha. They are about the only two that make it worth watching this year.

I'm curious to see what LaKisha will sing when she's not picking Gladys Knight and lucking out by getting Diana Ross in the first formatted week.

What if it had been U2 week? We'd have a totally different look and the "already weak field of guys" might've gotten a boost.

I watch every week now, as long I'm not traveling on business.

Last night I got very frustrated when Chris Sligh pulled off the up tempo version of Endless Love.

The judges always critique the kids by saying, "make the song your own dawg", etc. Then whenever someone like Sligh alters a song like he did last night, he gets hammered from the judges by not paying enoug respect to the classic song.

WTF?? These kids can't win with the judges no matter what they do.

I had a similar experience.
You'd think there's enough 'NO talent' with recording contracts to satisfy the addiction.
I just don't get the fascination millions have with that show.....it has to be the abuse heaped on the contestants.
I guess they never sat through enough grade school talent shows or got burned out watching the Gong Show.

By the way, American Dreamz was in the top 10 worst movies of all time. I usually love Weitz Bros. movies but it was political/social commentary that was incredibly uninformative and poorly thought out. It's as if they never picked up a New York Times or watched Idol.
