Broncos | Stokley visits

Adam Schefter, of NFL.com, reports the Denver Broncos met with unrestricted free-agent WR Brandon Stokley (Colts).

May make the conversations on Rod and WRs in the draft even more controversial . . . .

Whose on board with this pickup? Interesting stuff.

Does this mean the Broncos are serious about bringing in a WR?

im on board with drafting a WR, I dont think this guy is much better than Morgan or even Kircus...

I think Manning made him look better than he really was... plus he was always going agiants LB's and nickel corners.

Too injury prone. If it's for the vet minimum, no harm in bringing him to see if he can stay healthy. Otherwise, pass.

I don't know how much Stokley has in the tank. I would rather draft one

Lukewarm at best on this one. After all, he had Manning to throw to him and he did zilch. Maybe he was injured.

Nothing to lose adding him with a vet minimum contract. He really needs to be 100% though. Decent receiver when he's fit. Not often though.

He'd be solid in the slot, if he was healthy.

If he's 100% healthy and it's not a huge contract, I'd be for it.

he is not as bad as you guys are making him out to be...he would be solid depth if nothing else...definitely worth a look.

For a vet minimum I might, but he's a smaller guy that doesn't even have speed like other guys his size. I'm not thrilled. I'd rather take Az-Zahir Hakim, personally.

I wouldn't mind Stokley, but he's been injury prone lately, so not sure how much help he'd really provide. I doubt if they even signed him if that prevented them from drafting a WR at some point.
