Default Latest Huddle 3 Round Mock: 3/11

Broncos take:

1. Jarvis Moss, DE
2. Steve Smith, WR
3a. Aaron Rouse, S
3b. Manuel Ramirez, G

Not very inspiring, if you ask me.

I like the Moss and Smith pick up. Steve Smith was a state champion (Taft HS) in the 100, why he never was better at USC is beyond me.

Steve Smith was great at USC, its just that Jarrett got all of the pub. He is sneaky quick and runs perfect routes. I think he would be perfect for the Broncos.

I don't really like the rest of that draft. Moss seems to be an ass clown, Rouse is OK but doesn't thrill me and Ramerez is not neded unless they are planning on moving Kuper to OT.

I like Ramirez. He was a beast at the Senior bowl and did well at the combine.

Why do you say that? Did he interview poorly?

Latest example;

Jarvis did an interview on Sirius today and, as the hosts pointed out afterward, immediately killed any first round potential he may have had. He was drunk, or stoned, or something; there was a party going on in the background; and he couldn't get a coherent sentence out of his mouth. It was painful to listen to, and the hosts quickly cut him free.

A pre-arranged interview. National exposure. At noon EST. And he biffs it under the influence, then tries to attitude his way clear of the disaster.

This guy is bad news.

Moss may be the best DE availabe at 21 if Carriker is on the rise. I also heard good things about spencer from perdue.

Apparently, he had pre-arranged radio interview where there was a party going on in the background and he seemed to be intoxicated. That's the only incident I know. Shows some immaturity, but not that big of a deal as a n isolated incident if you ask me.

Is there anything else on the kid? Because if that's all there is, I'm not sure one isolated incident of immaturity is that big of a deal.

Immaturity is getting drunk and egging houses and stealing street signs. A preplanned national radio interview and he does it trashed shows he didn't take it seriously and and raises serious questions of motivational and responsibility issues. I don't want a guy who just shows up for a paycheck and does the minimum to get it.

I'm not wild about Jarvis, but the only source I've heard for the interview story is Telluride, who posted it. I have yet to find another source.

Not to defend the guy, but it was right after his pro-day so the kid was done with his all his pre-draft things outside of any team meetings. He was apparently celebrating their completion. I understand why he'd want to celebrate having finished all that other stuff. The problem is the interview was in the middle of the day...

I don't know if that will help or hurt him that much. Missing an interview on Sirius satellite Radio is hardly high on a lot of scouts' red-flag lists. We'll see. Mediator really likes him.

I'm thinking Spencer might be a better fit than Moss. I'd rather have Moss the player, but if he's an idiot, which there are indications he might be, not worth taking IMO. Smith or Jason Hill would be nice in the 2nd round. I don't think they need to take a guard as they do a tackle.

GOTTA GET HIS GOOSE ON!

I'll never forget that dumbass Maurice. Too many players with this mentality now though.

Not very inspiring, if you ask me.

1. Moss

Good pick here as we definately need a pass rusher

2. Smith

Would be a good pick in most years, but i believe we already have solid depth at WR and using a 2nd on one is just overkill

3. Rouse is a great pick, he could quickly fill in for ferguson or lynch, big mofo

4. Ramirez, No way do we need this, we have kuper and holland signed, and myers can play anywhere on the line, id say guard is set for next year. I'd rather this be T ryan harris of notre dame.
