Ace Hardware had the greatest gloves I have ever owned. Just 8 bucks. They are orange, waterproof yet breath, and not hard to put on. They even have a leather patch on the palm. Best I have ever owned.

Not only that, the old man opened a new store over at the lakes, and his daughter runs the one here now...she has a whole flock of kittens running the place. Surprisingly, they know what they are doing. There are a couple old boys still.
What I like about Ace is that there is someone to help you always...many times I've gone in and gotten a few screws or washers that were less than a buck. Go to a Home Depo or Lowes and your lost. And it's impossible to find help. Last edited by watermock; 03-07-2007 at 01:16 AM.. |

When I'm working at the hill, if it gets below -10C, you can't NOT have Mitts. No way in hell.
Of course, if it's warmer than that, gloves are always nice. |

These gloves rock. They are good for any temperature. Seriously, they are that good.

wow no wonder the forum is moving slow. Well not to boast but it is in the mid 60 this week here in the south and I think I might own one pair of gloves but can't find them when i need it. Also i own 25 ice scrappers but can't find them either. I think we have disposable sled b/c one day it snows we all go to the levee to sled down hill after that we forget what we did with that sled four years ago. We get only ice here. so snow is a rarity
