Default Ahman to Visit

Quote:
The Green Bay Press-Gazette reports that free-agent running back Ahman Green will visit the Denver Broncos.

Green, 30, was originally drafted by the Seahawks in 1998. He was traded to the Packers after two seasons, and has been the starter in Green Bay ever since.

He hit the market a year ago, but took a one-year deal to stay with the Packers due in large part to his ongoing rehab from a serious leg injury. He rushed for 1,059 yards in 14 games last season
More rumors.

I don't care for Green that much unless comes pretty cheaply. Has a lot of mileage and fumbling issues I believe.

He's past his prime, but if he came at a good price, it would be worth bringing him in.

He seemed to fix the fumbling problem for a little bit, and he lit the league on fire a few years ago. But I think the fumbling problem came back and he has had some injuries too.

He was on Sirius NFL a few weeks ago. Said he wants a 2 year deal and wants to be a Bronco. He said a few other teams, but I forgot.

He couild fit in a 2 back system and allow Denver do draft a project in round two or three.

I would rather have him over Lewis, but I would rather have neither.

Draft a RB!

So this is the true version of the story.

Trent Green was seen leaving a plane from Denver to Florida.

If he wants to be a Bronco then I would love to sign him. Maybe offer him a 4 year 12 million dollar contract with 4 million signing Bonus.

Sign Green on the cheap and draft a RB. I really don't think Green is looking for a big payday and I like him much better than Lewis.

I would much rather have Green over Jamal Lewis. I think Green has more gas left in the tank and he also catches a bunch of balls out of the backfield.

C'mon guys, how often do aging RBs ever make a difference on a new team?

Don't overpay Mike!

Henry was around 25 when he signed with the Titans.

Giving any kind of major SB to an old RB is nothing short of kicking yourself in the nuts.

My co-worker is a packer fan and I asked him what he thought about Green. He told me that Denver can open big enough holes in order to find the football that Green fumbled....

Spend the time and money on Jones from Chicago... he would be a better fit

That's funny.

I'm leaning more towards McGahee or Jamal Lewis.

It's not a rule yet. Just a topic the Players Union and league are discussing.

We as fans can't control what the players do on and off the field. I just know that Jamal could be more of a power back near the goal line.

I can't understand for the life of me why you'd want either of those two bums. Green is a better option than those two put together...but he's still no Travis Henry.

Now Travis Henry I'm buying..the Bills were foolish to let him go and now, so are the Titans.

Not with the bone spurs he has..his power has been dimished and he can no longer make the one cut and go.

Id take Henry, or Green in a heartbeat.

I like Mcgahee on the field, but off it, he is a punk, do we want that in Denver?
