Solid times for all three but of course, Peterson secures himself as the first HB taken.
Can anybody believe C. Johnson hit a 4.35 at 239lbs? That is rediculous. Jason Hill also got what was reported as a 4.32. |

how do you people think AP's times affected him
he ran what everyone was expecting, so does he just stay put? does this push him to the top? certainly doesnt hurt him i know, but just wondering what if any affect this would have on his draft status |

I think it pretty much clinches him being taken by Cleveland with the 3rd overall pick, barring someone trading up for him. The Browns have been rumored to be willing to listen to trade offers for the pick, but they'll likely want a hefty bounty in return from any interested suitors. Houston is the most likely team to see what it would take to move up and grab him, but I think the price will be too steep for them.

With his speed size, and maturity Calvin Johnson has a great chance to go down as one of the top WR's to ever play the game if he stays healthy and is in the right situation.

Expensive rookie running backs with injury history scare me.
I would love it if we got Antonio Pittman, though. |

Some have called Calvin Johnson the best WR prospect to come along in the last decade. On top of being a physical freak, the guy seems to have a good head on his shoulders.
Barring injury, he's going to make some team very happy for a long time. |

i still want DL in round 1 as well.
But I would be happy with Meachem at 21 as well. I really like this guy after seeing him today. Also, Pittman is a great zone runner, he would be nice, or even Henry. |

I've been hyping up Pittman for a month or so, and nobody was even mentioning him back then.
If we don't get Pittman then I hope we get Brandon Jackson out of Nebraska. |

The Browns need an instant impact player for their offense. AP is it. |

I like Lynch alot. Traded up to get umm... Pittman in the mock in an embarrasing moment. Heh. I like how Lynch cuts back and he's a great reciever too. We will have to leapfrog GB tho.

I don't see a way to get Peterson for the Broncos. He's a top 5 pick. Pittman is intriguing since not only running a good time, but has gotten bigger too. Listed at 207lbs. Might have to trade up in the 2nd round to get Pittman though. Chris Henry's time was a big surprise, the fastest of the RB's. He just jumped up higher in the draft.

Peterson is the dream guy...not happening...
but i REALLY like Marshawn Lynch....he fits us like a glove.... unless we move up..we don't get him either....so after that my choice is for Chris Henry.... The guy weighs 230....which we need...a bigger back.....plus he had the nerve to run a 4.4 40 time.....tied for fastest among all backs in the combine.....he may be our guy.... |

I have heard from a friend of mine with Dolphins connections that Denver has been trying to parlay a couple of picks and players to move up for AD. The story was that they were trying to get Houston's #8, and then to package that pick with others to move up to #3. I wouldnt take that as gospel, but just another rumor you heard on the net. I thought that it might be reasonable since it was corroborated by other things I heard from Kiper. Interesting nonetheless. |

It's too far a reach. We don't have two firsts this year. Let's just take Pittman in the second, or Lynch if GB passes because of some workout faux paus. We allready have a fast, upright runner on the team. Maybe not as talented as AP, but I'm not throwing the draft for that.
I smell a smokescreen. |

If there's one thing that I trust Shanny and Sundquist with, it's the ability to squeeze as much value as possible from anything that they trade. If it works for the Broncos, Shanny will find a way to get it done. |

If we had decent cap space, we could throw a few eggs into the bowl to make a tasy omelette, unfortunately,,,we have caviar taste on a ramen budget.
