Hmmm, maybe Carlos Zambrano should scrap with a teammate more often. Maybe that's his variation of the slump buster.

Here's another one I liked:

On renewing his old showdowns with Dice-K:

"I hope he awakens the burning fire that has laid dormant in the deep recesses of my soul."

That's deep.

Curtis Granderson just hit his 13th triple of the year.

That is insane when you figure the Tigers are only playing their 63rd game of the year.

Bucs slapping around the Rangers 6-0 in the 6th...totally amazing if you saw them in action at all against the Yankees over the weekend.....that was just one ugly series.

Too bad that Cook's good outing was wasted in a 2-1 loss.

Justin Verlander pitched a no-hitter for my Tigers!

Only the 6th in team history.

Verlander hit 101 on the gun in the 9th.

George Sherrill, best LH relief guy in the league, comes in the 8th with the bases juiced and one out and strikes out the next two batters...one on a 3-2 count!

GUTS!

Dodgers hit three consecutive homeruns, which also included their pitcher Kuo hitting one out of the park. It was like watching a batting practice session...unreal.

Cardiac freaking Mariners load the bases with two outs and a two run lead in the bottom of the 13th, but walk away with the win. That was a hell of a game.

Sammy is the man, Gagne who? Lack of production with RISP is still worry-some, but the bull pen sure isn't. The Dodgers are something like 28-1 after leading in the 7th inning.

BTW Kuo's bat flip after hitting the homer was hilarious.

I'm not a Yankee fan but A-Rod is having such a great season so far. Tonight he hit his 25th hr and got his 65th rbi. I wonder how many fans now want him and Abreu traded and off the team.

He just picked up his 66th RBI in his next at bat. He had a ridiculous 16 RBI's last week alone. He was fairly quiet in May after a torrid April, but he's found his stroke again in June.
