I had JJ Hardy pegged for a breakout year coming in and it looks like it might be happening. He busted his 6th dong last night. I drafted him in 2 of my 3 leagues and my only regrets is not getting him in all 3.

Good call, but I'm surprised you had to draft him. I took him real late in an NL Only draft, so he started the year on the waiver wire in 95% of mixed leagues.

I probably wouldn't have had to in the two leagues that I got him...picked him in the 23rd and final round of one and something like the 21st in the other. The one league I didn't get him was an auction league that had position limits and I got stuck with Carlos Guilen and Jhonny Peralta trying to run up prices.

Griffey was sidelined for a couple games with inflammation of the colon. That just sounds horrible. I feel so bad for this guy in his early years he was on pace to be one of the greatest players ever and then all his injuries occured. Nothing bad was ever brought up about him like steroids or hgh, he has just had some real bad luck.

He went from a sure fire HOFer to borderline and now with his past couple seasons believe he is a lock again for the Hall of Fame.
