Sigh...

I hate the new red alternate uniforms for the Buccos BTW, the red on the cap is alright, but they didn't even wear that last night.

Second consecutive strong outing for Rich Hill today. 7 shutout innings, 3 hits, 5 K's.

Zambrano should take notes.

The "Wife beaters need not apply" rule? I have that for my teams, too.

Sox are looking good. Wonder when Willy Moe will get his chance to play? Need to bench Coco Chrips butt.

A couple hours away from the opening pitch of Madres/Dahyers II. Peavy vs. Schmidt. Peavy looks rejuvenated from having a complete spring training, and the Madres have owned Schmidt over the years. Hopefully the Friars can atone for the absolute stomping they took in Chavez ravine last night.

Beltre should have at least 4 or 5 HR's on the season. If he played outside of Safeco he would've had 3 today.

Guillen's starting to get hot though, and if someone starts hitting well enough to displace Mr. .000002 slugging % Jose Vidro from the 3 hole, Seattle's lineup looks solid 1-9.

M's in 1st place YEAAAAAAAA!

I agree. I think the kid could be a stud with enough at bats. Plus it would help protect Drew

LaTroy Hawkins records his 3rd loss of the season already, great pickup that was.
And when is Corpas the setup man? Dumbasses....

Jake "Call a real cop" Peavy deals all over the Dahyers, and the Madres after licking their wounds hand LA a no holds barred beat down of their own.

While his strikeout numbers are down...feel free to pencil in 'Bama as your 2007 NL Cy Young award winner.

I'm no fan of wife beaters, but there was a pitching run early in my draft, and by the time I got around to picking up a pitcher, he was the best available...

Heavy rain all along the east coast today so some of today's games could end up getting delayed or ppd. It's pretty funny how teams like KC and Washington are already 4.5 and 5 games out.

I remember when he came to the LA circuit in the mid 70s. They promoted him as a protege of John Tolos. They partnered up as bad guys until one night when Valentine turned on Tolos and then they turned Tolos into a good guy.

He still might be around today doing smaller local shows but remember watching him in the early-mid 80s.

Eric Byrnes now has 11 RBIs this season, 8 of them against Colorado.

I'm so glad O'Dowd, the owner of a freshly signed two year extension, got rid of that guy.

All too familiar scene in Oakland. Rich Harden leaving the field being accompanied by the A's trainer. Didn't look like anything happened, but this is Harden we're talking about here.

Beltre hits another would-be-jack that gets swallowed up by the safe...

Rich Harden leaves the Oak-NY game with an apparent shoulder injury, too. Yikes.

EDIT-He didn't miss that one...
