Could we bring him in here and expect any results?
Maybe release Gold? I still would rather see DJ move back over to his slot but who knows... |

Forget about cost, his knee is shot. Beside I have always thought he needs to be in 3-4 defense with one job - go get the ball

NO NO NO
Why would we want to bring in a hack at LB - the strength of our D? |

It was a busted achilles, dunno about a bum knee...it's said he wasn't taking his rehab very seriously. I'm not that interested.

He is done. It's over for this guy. So I guess what I am saying is that he is bound to be a Raider.

I actually prefer "We are doomed" threads when Shanahan doesn't sign the hot FA name on the first day of the Free Agency period at 1201 AM

Arrington? What for? Does the team really need someone to dust off and refill IHOP's useless shoes?

Despite what you hear, Arrington is a solid guy and a great teammate.
He would get along great with the other linebackers. Because of his injuries, I 'd sign him to a one-year, incentive-laden contract. Be smart and put him in to pressure the quarterback. I wouldn't throw a lot of money at him. But, put it on him to make more money with stellar play. |

I don't know why you think that. He was on the radio a lot in DC and always came across as articulate and knowledge. Plus he has very good reputation for being community guy and locker room leader.
The crap you hear him not picking up the scheme comes for that ass Greg Williams and the rest of the Skins Defense Staff that had problem with Arrington. Arrington's problems are because of injuries not because of attitude or football smarts. I blame his lack of production in DC on the crap coaches that were here. The only one worth a darn was holding Spurrier's hand more then he was coaching the defense before he took off for Cinncy. |

If Nate Webster can't get any playing time, I can't see Arrington doing any better. I would rather the Broncos use a late round pick and draft a LB who can play special teams.

Arrington admitted that he struggled to grasp the concepts in a follow up interview to get his response to the comments. So either he's too dumb or he's too lazy to try and learn. |
