Default Giants release Arrington, Emmons, Petitgout

New manager changing things up, in my opinion for the better:

Bring in Luke for a look at RT, move over George.

Anybody else think that Arrington will be like Ty Law these last two years - asking for way too much thinking he is all that? Chiefs could actually be a match if they get rid of Kendrell Bell somehow.

Damn that was quick... Does Petitgout have anything left in the tank?

Wow the new guy's a badass...nice to see someone clean up that ****house roster.

Definitely for the better...it's always refreshing to see these newcomer GM's put their prints on their teams. Ruskell did it in Seattle in '05 and they went to the SB...

He broke a leg last year. He's only 30 years old though. There are fears that he would not pass a physical right now.

Wonder how bad of a break it was? I'm assuming it was a lower leg tib/fib fracture. I don't know, it might be worth a risk...

I'm thinking that if he had anything left in the tank, they'd have tried to trade him.

Back in NY there are a lot of people that have wanted Petitgout gone for awhile due to all of the false starts and holding calls from him. Arrington wasn't a shocker either cause the guy have done nothing for years to warrant that hype and money.

Whoa! I got the Giants in the mock. Can we start over? Just kidding. I'm drafting around those guys anyway. This leads me to believe Reese is going to be hunting for more picks. They've got a lot of needs.

Getting Alexander couldn't have come at a better time for that defense. Not quite the talent of Arrington, but at least he's not a complete tool bag.

I was yelling hard for the Broncos to sign Carlos Emmons when he left Pittsburgh in 2000. 6'5", 250 pound tight end killer and he was inexpensive. We had other ideas.

Interesting shake up for the Giants... wonder if reuniting Brown and Arrington could ignite both their careers... probably not...

That's how he was last year.
