Ok, since ESPN has totally picked apart the Wade Phillips-Cowboys b.s. Why not we talk a little about the Chuggers. Since the season has been over for them, they lost Cam Cameron and most recently Wade Phillips. How impacted is this to the Chuggers, and will they yet again blow it next year?

Marty caught with his pants down. Thatīs all I have to say. The Cowboys hiring Wade kills 2 birds with one stone.

I dont think it will matter too much.

They still have LT, a dominant D-line, a serviceable O-line, and a growing QB with a good red zone target.

Agree about Cameron, but from what Iīve heard Marty gave his coordinators quite a bit of responsibility and let them do their thing last season, so losing both will hurt and make Marty do more stuff than he did last season. Canīt be bad for us.

I think Wade will hurt their D. Who are they going to get to coach the 3-4? Lebeau?

I agree here. I do think that coaching matters in sports and it's not all about the players, but I think they'll generally be fine with the talent they have.

I think Lebeau has already been ruled out as Pitt wants to hang onto him and he would also cost SD a draft pick (I think.) This is what I posted in the other thread about replacements for Wade-

Quote:
I don't think there will be a problem finding a coach that can run Wade's system. Wayne Nunnely and John Pagano are both good in house candidates. I think we'll really be missing Wade's game time adjustments though. He almost always made great adjustments at halftime, which a lot of DC's fail to do. I heard that Marty is really interested in Jerry Glanville http://uhathletics.hawaii.edu/coach_...=3&coachid=147. He looks like a really good prospect as he's already coached top NFL defenses.

I agree about Wade's prevent packages btw. They didn't really seem to prevent anything.

I'm honestly not that worried about it. Say what you want about Marty, but he does a great job of finding and developing good coaches. I'm more worried about locking up Kris Dielman than I am about the coaching losses.

Looks like a very good opportunity for alot of "blue chip" offensive and defensive coordinators to help bring a Championship team to San Diego. The recent coaching losses does not necessarily bode well for the Broncos.

This is gonna be great...although they still have all their talent with them....they might not be as aggressive with out Wade...and they just...might...go...back...to...MARTYBALL without Cameron
