My dad turned to me yesterday and asked me "Does Prince have a new album out or something?" and I was wondering the same thing.
Has this guy done anything in the past like, 10 years? And Greatest Hits records (if he has them, I assume he does) don't really count. |

In the last 3 years he has released:
Musicology - 2004 3121 - 2006 Both sold pretty well. He also had an online music club that started in 2001 - 2005 that offered tons of downloads and internet only album releases. He is also performing every weekend at the Rio Casino in Vegas in his own club "3121". That was probably the main reason he performed. |

If Prince didn't peak in the mid-80s, why was he still playing his hits from Purple Rain last night?

On top of having a number 1 album released in '06.
He had the number 1 money making tour of '04. Musicology, rose to the top 5 in the album charts of several countries (including the United States, United Kingdom, Germany and Australia) |

Check out his performance of "While My Guitar Gently Weeps" with Tom Petty and George Harrison's son form the 2004 Rock and Roll Hall of Fame. He is one of the most underrated guitar players of all time. |

I like Prince, but his musicology number are a bit eskewed. If you bought a ticket to the musicology tour you were given a copy of the album at the door. These Copies counted as sold albums, even if they were given to people who had already purchased the album prior to the show, or it was a person dragged to the concert by a friend (me).

Prince is very talented and has written alot of tunes for other artists through the years but i personally can't stand the homo, back in the day when he was new and little red corvette was peaking we cursed his name and made fun of him every chance we got.

The guy is a great guitarist, great songwriter, has loads of talent. Writes tons of songs for other artists....
But who gives a ****. I can't stand the little midget. Did anyone notice how huge that Telecaster he was playing looked against his small frame? He looked like a little kid playing it. Haha! |
