After Nattiel went to Tampa in 1992, he was cut, and then resigned by the Broncos prior to a 1992 week 4 game at Cleveland.

I was at that 1992 game with my fiancee, now my wife, actually we got engaged in Cleveland 2 days before (long story).

And during warmups, I saw a guy wearing 81 and I could not figure out who it was. Holy **** Ricky Nattiel is back and now he is wearing 81, while Shannon stole his 84. Classic!!!!

That's a good trivia question. How may games did nattiel play for us in 1992? I gotta look that up.
Scanned an old football card I have:

I'm not exactly sure what the list of players is about. Certainly not all were Broncos greats. Reuben Droughns shouldn't be on there...neither should guys like Ekuban or Nick Ferguson, or Karlis.

If John Lynch is included on a Broncos best list then a guy like Neil Smith definitely should be there as well.

There were a lot of guys left off...Sammy Winder and Keith Bishop deserve some recognition.

All in all it was a weird grouping of players.

I don't know about that - I was BLOWN AWAY when I saw all those photos. The Broncos' website should have something like that or better...

GREAT photo of old Mile High too...

NEW TRIVIA:

Q: Which player pictured, of all those above, is least deserving of inclusion?

A: EBENEZER EKUBAN (John Lynch has played three years to Ekuban's two, and is a defensive captain)

_________

Q: Which player was omitted from the pics above that should be in there?

A: RILEY ODOMS (Partial credit for BOB SWENSON, MARK SCHLERETH, ALFRED WILLIAMS, BARNEY CHAVOUS, or thanks to Pendejo, KEITH BISHOP.) (Winder is in there, though). One-quarter credit for PAUL HOWARD. (Neil Smith played just 2 years to Williams' 4, plus Alfred was All-Pro. Besides, Neil Smith is Crayon Red x 2: both a Chef and Husker - which disqualifies him outright ).

And yes, B-Love the Bronco to hold the league's passing yards was Brian Griese. -- That season still pains me. I thought young Griese was poised to have a long and fruitful career in Orange.

And Buff - Slap guessed Ted Gregory but nobody said that was right....

In what is referred to as the first major trade in Bronco history, In 1960 the Broncos sent fullback Jack Spikes to the Dallas Texans. Who did they acquire?

I'm a disinformation specialist.

1 - What assistant coach nearly whipped Ted Gregory's spoiled punk ass right on the practice field his rookie training camp, essentially forcing us to trade him before he played a snap.

2 - To which team did we trade him?

3 - What did we get for him?

4 - Ted Gregory played a few snaps at the end of three games his rookie year before taking his signing bonus and running off to Wall Street. What quarterback was the victim of his only NFL sack?

I'm not sure what Coach was still here then. Collier?

We traded him to New Orleans for their equally under performing first round pick the year before - Shawn Knight.

Don't know who was slow enough to be sacked by Ted....

Who holds the Broncos franchise record for most rushing yards in a season opener?

For extra Broncos credit who did he set it against and in what year?
