14 - 2. #1 overall seed. Phillip Rivers' "break out season". LT's record.

Down the drain. Ouch.

Same old Chargers. Come back when you are actually worthy.

Can anybody play Chapelle's Piss on you video right now?

Up 8 with 7 minutes left to go. I am laughing my ass off right now.

Marty will now get fired, they will shake up the staff. Wade Philipps will probably be gone... who knows if the 3-4 will still be around.

This is a Broncos Dream come true.

Every team I wanted to not win the super bowl is now out. I love it.

Me too. I kinda don't want NE to win it, but since they took out SD I am okay with it.

What an unbelievable choke job by San Diego. Phillip Rivers looked down right awful down the stretch of the season and this game.

Marty just can't win with only 9 pro-bowlers or whatever the stupid number was...give him a break.

Thank you San Diego Chargers for participating in the 2006 NFL football season.... the flushing sound you just heard was the Chargers #1 Seed and Homefield going down the crapper.

They will most likely pull a LT and avoid the this board and the handshake.

Watching Marty choke is almost like winning a superbowl.

I don't know if it was a Marty choke , as much as it was just another day at the office for the Pats .......... Same ole Pats , hang around late , find away to win ....I didn't buy that line of crap about the Chargers being best team in the NFL , I still say the Steelers were a much better team in Brady's 1 st year , the pats beat them ,I knew the pats beat the Chargers .......... only thing that did take me by surprise is Brady being off target so much .........

I loved seeing a Marty team choke again. I wanted them to lose from day one.

I am very surprised about the LT fit. That seemed so uncharacteristic of him, and his excuse for it was pretty poor too.

I loved the Chargers meltdown. The Chiefs got whooped last weekend and now the Bolts lose. Makes my weekend that much better.

Exactly. That's why it's a Marty choke. They should have been able to capitalize on 3 INT's, tons of QB pressures and even a few gift calls from the refs.

I never did think the bolts were all that. Many (say again.........MANY) of their wins to get that 14-2 record were come from behind wins were I think they were totally outplayed for the whole game except the end. Now, karma, the same was done to them. What's that song by the Stones? How does it feel?

I doubt Marty gets fired. He's been able to get and keep jobs despite his playoff choke jobs. If, or I should say ,when his team doesn't get it done again next year, that's when you'll likely see a change.

You've got to be kidding me. Worthy? What the hell does your team have to show for anything, all time? A few divisional championships, a couple of conference titles? And we're not worthy?!

Try again.

LT: Prime example of that old saying about how anyone can be gracious when times are good. It's when things go wrong that true character comes out, and i think we caught a pretty good glimpse today. Some of you are going to blast me and say, "But, but, he just gives the ball to the ref every time.." It's a front, he couldn't keep it up forever.
