Hey cheese dick I really don't think you want to start about talking about the past do you? Or the recent past for that matter?

And John said "Damn the chiefs are ignorant. I shall send every reject from the AFC west out to pasture in the waste land of K.C and they will think it's good"

No, numb-nuts, that's my point, who cares about the past. You want the past, enroll in a History class. It's the present and future that matters. The Broncos have absolutely no future, hate to break it to folks. I'd cry too. And as far my life goes DenFan38, bad move trying to call me out about that...you are definitely not one to be talking about who has one and who doesn't. I'll let it slide this time.

As far as me turning on the TV, I did, I was flipping between the Kansas City Royals beating the Minnesota Twins 4-3. Then Kansas State STEAMROLL California. Then to the Kansas City Chiefs to Larry Johnson who busts a big one to the endzone. Hmmmmm, it's GREAT to be livin' in Kansas City! WHOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!

P.S. Hmmmm, Los Angeles Dodgers.

Two things:

1. As much as I hate the Broncos, I enjoy creative and humorous writing. Well done, Meck... and the Raider poster who responded to you.

2. "Joke Plummet" is a pretty lame ass putdown. Sorry, but that's the truth.

Ain't nothing like people taking notice at Orange Mane's Next Best Thang. I'm glad you all like my girl...just as they say, blondes have more fun...well...it's true, but...BLONDES ARE JUST FUN. But then again, like you losers would know anything about that. Just don't even try and comment with anything...we all know. Just spare us with any trying to convince that you actually do know anything about a blonde.

Now I know you can't be talking about sports, because that would be one stupid statement.

Baseball - Royals - first semblance of a non-disastrous season in at least FIFTEEN years

Football - Chiefs - 2nd tier organization, if that. No sniff of the super bowl in over THIRTY years

Basketball - not good enough to have it

Hockey - not good enough to have it

College - Kansas State just recently became a 2nd tier football program. Ten years ago, nobody even knew they existed. And that's all the sports they have.

Ahh thanks REB. I actually just D-bumped the thread right before you posted.

It's a little outdated with the Portis reference. If anyone would care to update that section please feel free.

You went to another board?

OK...I missed the point of the post completely. I'm just going to go find Ricky Williams and hang out with him for a while...

Don't mind me...I'm in a goofy mood tonight.

I agree, TNS. I'm a long time Plummer fan, and I'll stand by him even if he sucks. I do have a sense of humor, and laugh at clever nicknames or putdowns, but "Joke Plummet" is just out and out a stupid, lame putdown. Of course, considering the source, it's not surprising.

So I came up with my own to try and make light of the debate over there that some of you might appreicate......

Broncos 1

The Beginning

1 In the beginning John Elway created the heavens and Mile High Stadium.
2 Now the Stadium [1] formless and empty, darkness was over the surface of the deep, and the Spirit of John was hovering over the Rockies.

3 And John said, "Let there be Football," and there was Football. 4 John saw that the football was good, and he separated the Broncos from the Raiders. 5 John called the Broncos good," and the darkness he called Raiders" And there was evening, and there was morning-the first day.
6 And John said, "Let there be an expanse between Mile High Stadium to separate Good from Evil." 7 So John made the expanse and separated Oakland from Denver. And it was so. 8 John called the expanse the seperation of Upper Class living with the Ghetto. And there was evening, and there was morning-the second day.
9 And John said, "Let the water under the sky be gathered to one place, and be transformed to BEER at Coor's Brewery. And it was so. 10 John called the dry ground Oakland" and then gathered all the trash and crack and put it there ." And John saw that it was good there.
11 Then John said, "Let the land Denver produce Superbowl victories: And it was so. 12 . And John saw that it was good. 13 And there was evening, and there was morning-the third day.
14 And God said, "Let there be lights in Mile High so we could have Monday night football, and let them serve as signs to mark football seasons so everyone would know when it is time to kick the living shiat out of the Raiders. 15 and let there be lights in the parking lot so we can see when my followers tailgate." And it was so. 16 John made two great lights-the greater light to govern the Stadium and the lesser light to govern the parking lot. He also made the pro-bowl. 17 John set light next to Bucky (the horse that sits on top of the South side of the staium) to light Mile High and the parking lot, 18 . And God saw that it was good. 19 And there was evening, and there was morning-the fourth day.
20 And John said, "Let the Raiders Suck" And it was so. 21 So John created Jake Plummer, Rod Smith Eddie Mac, Clinton Portis to make sure. And John saw that it was good. 22 John blessed them and said, "Kick Ass and increase the number of Bronco Fans. 23 And there was evening, and there was morning-the fifth day.
24 And John said, "Let Denver produce beautiful young women and the Oakland fans should only mate according to their kinds: livestock, creatures that move along the ground, and wild animals, each according to its kind." And it was so. 25 John moved the Gangsters to Oakland and called them second class citizens according to their kinds, the livestock according to their kinds, and all the creatures that move along the ground according to their kinds. And John saw that it was good.
26 Then John said, "Let us make man in our image, in our likeness, and let them rule over the Raiders and the birds of the air, over the livestock, over all the earth, [2] and over all the creatures that move along the ground."

27 So God created Meck 77 in his own image.
in the image of John he created him;
male and female he created them.

28 God blessed them and said to them, "Be Bronco Fans and increase in number; fill Mile High and cheer in your church. Rule over the the scum bag Raiders.

29 Then John said, "I give you every offensive and defensive weapon to crush Oakland. They will be yours to embarss them. 30 And to all the Fans of Mile High I give you hod dogs and burgers for food." And it was so.
31 John saw all that he had made, and it was very good. And there was evening, and there was morning-the sixth day.

On the seventh Day John sat on the couch drank a coors and watched the Broncos beat Oakland.

On the eigth Day John bought an Arena team and said "I will call it the Colorado Crush and they will win an Arena Bowl".....and it was so!!!!

I told you he was God.

Concerning the religious "wacko" and in comparison, yourself:

Which would philosophically be more valuable to concern yourself with: a football team (a business) that you are not even really a part of, or a system of values that dictate the way that you can best spend every waking moment of your life in pursuit of bettering those around you, yourself, and standing in reverence to the "thing" that governs the systems of the universe that you are subject to?

I would have to say that to me, you are the wacko. A product of marketing and the propagation of false hopes by people that want your loyalty so that they can buy a better car or have more flexibility when investing down the road.

Huh? You have no idea how the conversation went down between me and the poster I was referring to.

He wasn't even of a religion that is generally known it was some crazy cult stuff and was claiming his way was the only way. My point was that there are many religions and they all believe their way is the way and my was is "The Elway" . It's was a joke man. Nothing more. I also disagree that we Broncos fans are not part of the orgaization. Many of us have been supporting the team for decades of which I am one of those.

You mean to tell me the tens of thousands of Broncos fans who filled up Mile High during the Superbowl days had nothing to do with the teams success? Perhaps you should go back and watch some of John's final speeches when he was retiring and his Canton speech.

I do agree with you on one thing. I am a complete freakin wacko when it comes to the Broncos and I wouldn't have it any other way. What you fail to understand Lama is that the Broncos have indrectly become apart of "My Business". Not that I need to explain it to you but you asked. You see I'm a realtor. I make a living helping people buy and sell real estate. I've been fortunate enough to meet alot of Broncos fans doing the tailgating etc and some of them have become my clients or might become future clients. Realtors by nature carve out a niche in the public. Mine by default happens to be Broncos fans along with my existing business partners/friends etc. I've been able to combine my love for real estate and my love for the Broncos.

Infact I have to leave pretty soon to get my bus to the public celebration at Elway's restaurant at 3:30 for a celebration that ALL OF DENVER IS INVITED TO so I can show my support for the Crush and John Elway.
