Default Favorite single hand.

Dont know how many folks stroll thru here but heres a nice thread to tell about your best/favorite hand ever.

Last tourny I played in first table fairly early in the night so everyone is about even.

Im sitting in the big blind and have a whooping 3, 7 offsuit. Everyone comes in but not a single raise. So I'm thinking "I guess Im just along for the ride till someone opens the door for me to bail" The flop comes up 4, 5, 6............hmmmm..............wait holy **** "Ok calm down retard how does one play this mess turned to gold" People are eyeing the flop and its making them nervious. I start to fold and after some time just keep following everyone elses raises and re-raises until after the river. The pot grew nicely while the whole time I appear to be just along for the ride After the river I go all in and a couple of folks follow with high pairs

After going all in one dude asks "what did you get the straight on the flop" kind of sarcasticly. I looked that dude right in the eye and said "why yes I did". He obviously thought I was being a smart ass and followed me.

Big blind 3,7 turned out all roses but obviously I would not have even been in had I not been the big blind.

Side note I hate big slick seriously I always get screwed with big slick.

The obvious part of this story is you need special people at your table to follow someone "all in" after a flop like that. I guess the flashing lights/warning bells on some people simply dont work that well

I love to swing 'the hammer' (duece-seven off suit)

I was playing 2-5 up in the hills a couple weeks ago..I make it $7 to go pre flop. Get 4 callers. flop comes K Q 6.

So I keep raisiing. one guy left. turn comes a seven, river comes a seven.

Guy was PISSED! I love playing like a donk and winning

Heres a funny story.

When I come to Denver to play I go with a friend. Well on one trip the first night I ended up going out 3 or 4 places short of the finals table. My buddy had gone out pretty early and was hanging out waiting for we to go out. Anyway after going out were sitting there watching and talking. I tell him I've really got to stop with my "tell" I think a couple of people picked up on it. He gets a **** eating grin on his face and says "what tell" so I tell him when I've got a winner I put my right hand over my mouth/chin to help avoid a smile. He changes the subject and nothing more is said about it.

Fast forward to the next night were seated at the same table. I dont remember the hand exactly but I think right after the turn I put my right hand up over my chin/mouth........I had nothing nadda crap zip I raise he bails I show him my **** hand.........

Do you realize the 3 7 story is the exact story Hachem won his Main Event? Same hand and same flop. Only difference is that there was a raise and Hachem called it preflop. Nice hit.

I seem to do always really well with the hammer.. and also 3-6 offsuit. I almost never lose with those hands.. and even when I decide to fold it preflop, because someone goes all-in or raises to a ridiculous amount.. I usually still would have won.

Big slick sucks for me as well, but I got to a final table for the first time thanks to them, so now I value big slick a bit more

I like seeing flops with 10's... everything from 7-10 on up through A-10... I'm a sucker for the 10 and the potential straight draws.

Ive been playing a lot of Omaha EOB lately.. Great hand from last week...

Starting hand Ad 2d 3c 4c

Flop comes 3d 4d 5d

So I pretty much have the nut high and the low.

anyway we capped the pot at everyturn, and the guy at the end tells me im stupid to keep raising..he shows a full house and I turn over a straight flush and the nut low.
