I wish they would move the clock ahead by two hours and leave it there. I like to come home or do things after work without the dark. I don't care about the mornings. I am in a fog and can't see anything until after my first pot of coffee anyway.

Didn't Bush sign into law a permanent move to DST beginning in 2008?

I love explaining DST to blond girls:
Blond: "Why do we have Daylight Saving Time?" Me: "It's so farmers' crops have an extra hour of sunlight every day." Blond: "Oh. That makes a lot of sense, actually." Me: *laughs ass off* I love blond girls. ![]() |

I dont care.
It doesnt bother me one way or the other. I dont see why people complain about it at all, nor do I see a reason to have it. How hard is it to set your clock one hour forward or backward? |

I hate having to check all the server clocks. NTP has made life better but there is always one server that does not update.
Ban it, Kids don't start school that early that it would hurt them. |

I'm not a farmer, so please excuse my arrogance, but couldn't a farmer adjust his schedule and just feed the livestock an hour earlier/later so it's always the same time to the animals?

An independant farmer could...but if he has hired hands, he wants to get as much work done in the daylight hours also, so if he's paying by the hour it costs him more to operate, thus less profit on the sale of the livestock.

Just seems like such a trivial thing to whine about.
Of course, most of those b****ing on this thread seem to whine about everything anyway. |
