at 9:44 EST john elway will be on mike and mike in the morning on ESPN radio (or espn 2) just thought id share in case anyone has time to catch it

It was a pretty good interview. They asked him about the Crush's upcoming season and the NFL playoffs mostly.

An interesting thing they said after they got off of the phone with his is that the Crush are holding open tryouts. Anyone going to give it a shot to become the Vince Papoli of the AFL?

I heard him talking about Grossgrrl. He was right, a QB must be consisitent. I am glad we are rid of our Inconsistent QB.

The funniest part was them saying Stink takes credit for John's defining play.

Schlereth says he misses a block, Elway gets hit and helicopters, and everyone thinks something great happened...

The one thing John said which is so true is nobody wins Championships by themselves. He didn't. Peyton Manning can't. He said the whole organization from the owner on down has to be on the same page. Everyone has to be committed.

Sounds easy doesn't it?

I thought it was a good interview. John also talked about "The Drive" as his defining moment that he can succeed in the NFL. There was more talk concerning Marty Shottenheimer.
