I'm not sure that's an "official" list. The way he words it sounds to me like he's guessing:

Yep, that's Legwold's opinion of the "official" list. It's an obvious list, but with the way this team has chosen to address the DL the previous seasons, you never know if they actually value DL that highly.

Why would you say that. They brought in 4 starters for the 05 season and 1 starter and a back up last year. That is 6 players in 2 years more than any other position.

Herc, I think they value DL, they just may be delusional about what they have. I'm going to wait and see what they actually do before I criticize, though. Shanny rarely tips his hand on personnel matters. I could see it going either way.

Sorry if I don't believe valuing a position is picking up other team's castoffs or using 2nd day picks. 6 new guys in two years makes it look like they're throwing **** up against a wall and hoping some of it sticks.

Well, the new Dline coach might have some differing views about the subject, and I would suspect he would have some serious input into the overall D plan for next year. The whole point is to get some new ideas and that probably includes getting different people.

Well Who were the great players we passed on? Maybe Brown from Chicago but he was a 5th rounder. If we would have drafted Bunkley would you be more happy? Or signed Andre Carter to a 30 million dollar deal?

I'd hate Ginn as the #1 pick. A 2nd rounder? Sure, but I don't see him as being that great a WR in the Bronco offense since he doesn't strike me as the type to go over the middle much.

Yes sign the man that will break the 63 yard mark. Sign him now so that when he breaks it at Mile High he will be in a Broncos Jersey

He's not my first choice for the 21st pick, but I wouldn't be unhappy if it were him. |

I'd be happy with DL or S in the 1st. I'm just saying the Broncos could use a speed boost at WR and the death of DW our ST's need a huge lift. Ginn would solve those issues.

I'm not a big fan of spending a 1st rounder on a STer, but with Cutler's arm a burner like Ginn could be a dnagerous weapon.
I could only stomach Ginn if we sign Sands and Smith during FA. Outside of that the DL needs to be addressed in round 1. |
