The fact that I'm subbing...and even though I get quite a few hours, I can tell them "NO" and not have to worry about them getting mad. They also can't complain when I want vacations so I can schedule my Bronco trips whenver Also, since I work with kids...the dress code is jeans and a tee shirt!

I am a general manager of a rv dealership, I get to visit with older people dailey. I get paid to listen to great stories, and make friends. Most of the people I sell to are coming in the mornings for coffee, so I get great gossip as well.

I haven't got the job yet, but as a law enforcement officer I'll love being able to do my part to clean up the community and help people in general.

for me its gotta be working with my dad and sister. 3 person company with dreams of being able to sell out to a bigger company and retire as millionaires.

Also, when I go out to a job a lot of the time its just me working and nobody bugs me. I like that.

Get a brand new truck every 2 years. Truck I have now Ive had for a week.

Taking project managers out to Diamond Cabaret for lunch.

Getting taken to lunch at the Diamond by our suppliers.

Winter rules. Its bidding season and my work days are about 2-4 hours long, although during the summer and fall its 6-7 days/week, sunup to sundown.

Jobs that have like 100 signs in a little area. With those we make around 20-30K and it takes 1-2 days to do.

The company cruise we are about to take in the next month.

The fact that if I need a little more money for something, all I have to do is ask, listen to the bull**** from my old man, then I get it.

company pays for my sons preschool.

Theres probably more but I havent thought about it yet.

How do you like working for your brother compared to working for yourself?

The opportunity to learn new things on the fly and the creativity to use what I hve learned.

Two years ago, I didnt know any scripting languages. My boss asked me (with my coding background) to learn PHP, ASP and Perl. Now, Im fairly fluent in all of them and can do some downright amazingly cool stuff on the internet.

I love the freedom and helping people achieve their dreams thru real estate investing whether it be a first time home, a vaction home, rental etc. Love the sastification of talking to a former client who calls again and says "I need some more real estate!". I love being able to control my own fate also. Use to be involved with the stock market but I just don't trust the criminals running the corportations. I'll buy dirt over shares of stock anyday.

The best part about it is the blurry line between work and fun. Buying, selling, looking at real estate is fun that I don't even consider work whether it's for myself or a client. Well ok it's not all glorious. Hearing about a busted up water heater or stuffed up toilet from a tenant can put me in a bad mood sometimes.

Definitely. The benefit is that alot of the training I have done has helped prepare these 18-20 year olds to be the best pest exterminators they can be.

I love the fact that in about a year or so, I'm retired with a nice retirement and get to start a NEW job to boot. Don't know what yet, but home depot is looking good for pocket money...dman

*Don't have to work, but I'm not old, so I have to keep working. Can't sit around if you know what I mean.

Smell of jet fuel in the morining while drinking coffee, traveling(pro/cons) but generally good, travel benefits. I don't work a lot really either which I would prefer to work more but I can't complain as there aren't many 27 year olds in my position that are single and own a house.

Don't want to move anytime soon. The wifey loves the present house, that is always good. May teach at a local college, don't know right now. Like I said, Home depot would be fine also. I'm way open to the possibilities out there....dman
