Default Charles Rogers?

I know the guy was out of football this year, and I'm not suggesting we bring him in on a 7-year deal, but what the hell happened to this guy?? Did he just get too injured to play? Will noone touch him due to character issues? What? Is he worth a look at training camp?

I'm probably making a really stupid suggestion here, but I seem to recall that when he was healthy, he was good. Plus, if he did suffer, we can always chalk that up under "He played for the ****ing Lions".

No?

No.

He's a headcase, has attitude issues, is one more failed drug test away from a year long suspension and wasn't all that good even when he was in the lineup (which wasn't often).

He was released during training camp and no one thought to so much as work him out. That should tell you all you need to know about the league wide perception of him.

He'll get a look from someone, I just hope it isn't Denver.

He pretty much signed and retired with his rookie deal. I doubt the punk would start trying hard playing for the minimum.

Bringing in bust picks with head cases always works! In fact let's bring in David Terell! Wait...

I'm not against it. Any guy can change. He would cost basically nothing too I would imagine.

Javon Walker, Brandon Marshall, Rod Smith will be our 1-2-3 next year, and Kircus has shown enough to be a solid 4. So why would you want to bring in Rogers?

No, it doesn't usually work, but it doesn't hurt either. What's the harm in giving him a one year deal at the vet minimum and have a looksee?

Rogers has the weakest collar bones ever. Almost a guarantee to break after 3 plays.

Watts looked like he was going to be something going into his second year and man that worked out. Rogers is more talented then Kircus and really wouldn't be a bad weapon in the RZ. You can never bring in enough talent to push people period. I'd rather bring in Marcus Robinson but Rogers wouldn't be a bad pick up either.

I would agree with picking up Rogers if he was not as fragile as Samuel L Jackson in Unbreakable. Kircus would be a good 4, has a year in the system, and has shown he can be healthy. I would prefer a KR/PR wideout that we pick up in the draft, personally.

Exactly. Do they need somone to carry their gear around? if so, I guess Rogers will do.
