Default You Know What Really Sucks About The Season Being Over?

Forgetting for a moment about Darrent, of course.

Today I was thinking, about how exciting it's been each game to watch Jay Cutler, every play, every pass, to watch him get better.

I thought about last season. I know a lot of you guys would love football 12 months a year, but I am not one of those people. Last year, by the time we had lost to Pittsburgh, I was burnt out on football and ready for it to be over. I was ready for NBA, March Madness, etc. Of course, I would have loved us to go to the SuperBowl, but the point is, I was just tired of it.

This year, down the stretch, it wasn't even about wins and losses. It was a different type of excitement, all centered around Jay Cutler. Don't get me wrong, I love when our boys win, and I was pissed they tanked to SF, but I'm really more pissed that we have to wait like what, 6 months until we get to see Cutler again?

Anyways, although I love me some basketball and can't wait to see 'Melo & AI on the court together, I'm already hyped for next season. I usually don't even think about football until the draft and more importantly training camp, but I can't wait to see what Cutler can do next year.

You mean the fact that our loss let the loser Chefs back into the playoffs, then to have their pathetic fan base pump their chests like they have done something ? You mean that part that really sucks ? I get to see them up close every day, lucky me.

Cutler will be a real weapon this upcoming year. These last few games will really have him ahead of the curve next year.

I was just as excited last year as this, maybe even more considered we were winning.

But I get your point. Cutler brings us a future of hope, and he got better every play.

I still can't believe we contrived to lose to the 49ers.

Me either, that loss was just awful. It would have sucked to play this weekend with what happened to DWill and all so maybe it was all for the best.

Got tickets to the March 7th Warriors/Nuggets game. Should be a fun one. Both should be on the court by that time.

January 10th is what Im looking forward to next.

Conference games begin in earnest in the Big 12 and KU opens against Oklahoma State. My favorite team vs my brother's favorite team, braggin rights until the Big 12 tourney .

The top 20 or so in basketball all look really good this year. By basketball, I mean NCAA as the NBA isnt basketball anymore. If March Madness this year is anything like the last couple of years, especially with the mid-majors making such a big splash, this shouldnt be too bad of an offseason.

MM always delivers. Ah, filling out a bracket will be fun. Of course, watch for everybody to jump on mid-majors and then the big names taking care of business. That'd be kind of funny, actually. But everybody loves a Cinderella story. Loved GM last year.

I gotta make it a point to hit some Lobos games this year. I've never followed them really, but basketball is basketball.

March Madness is the playoffs for College Basketball.

64 teams make it in. They have 4 divisions that play and norrow it down to four teams then two teams. It's a single elimination and is held during the month of March. There is great basketball in almost every game!!! It's just an awesome time...hence, Madness!!!

Edit: And thanks to smalltowngrll for answering seriously! You guys are smartasses.

Imagine the Superbowl over a 30 day period with 64 teams and anything can happen.

Its only the greatest sporting event on Planet Earth. Yes, better than the World Cup.

Amazing finishes, its great!

If you have heard these terms, this is where they come from:

Sweet 16
Elite 8
Final 4

EDIT: yeah right Alec, WC owns March Madness. But it is Americas version of it for sure.
