Looking at his numbers for the season i wouldn't be surprised if they cut him, would you want the broncos to sign him or should we look to the future?

Not sure why we let him go in the first place... money more than likely.
I would like to see him back. |

as long as he isn't viewed as the "answer" at RB. He (or Ron Dayne) may have helped with our three 1st and goal debacles in the 49ers' game.

Sure, if the price is right. But we need to draft a new RB anyway.

Yes. He's a hard worker and a good example for the other players. You try and have a veteran with some leadership at every position and we don't have one at running back.

He was part of the short yardage problem last year, as reading a hole isn't a strongsuit. He's stop gap, and we've got stop gaps.

No, Anderson's time is short and this team needs to find real answers at the RB spot for a change.

The Ravens might just cut Jamal Lewis...or they could lose Musa Smith to FA.
I don't think the Ravens will be cutting MA. |

I'm not sure why we'd pay him a truckload of money to be a fullback. Sapp and Johnson have been doing a great job, and I think Sapp has really earned Shanny's trust after some of the things he's done this season. Hopefully he'll be able to totally recover from his injury and come on strong next year.

He's better than what we have but we need to get younger not older at RB.

I think bringin in Anderson would be good for short yardage. He's a tough runner. But in the big picture, we already have guys of his caliber on the team. We need something more at the RB besides Anderson.

Tatum Bell 3rd year. Cedric Cobbs 2nd year. Damien Nash 2nd year. Cecil Sapp 4th year. I fail to see how we need to get younger. What we need is to either fix the OL (preferred option) or get a quality #1 RB (other needs more pressing). Again, our RBs are fine. We just need to fix the OL. |

He's out of gas. There's better uses for cap money than spending it on nostalgia.

the running backs are not fine. our running backs are some of the worst in the league and that hurts to say. Mike Bell is a tough runner and i root for him, but he's nothing more than a role player. And Tatum is incredibly fast but the guy just can't make a move in the open field, he's just not very good. The only time our running backs make plays is when the line comes together perfectly.
I'm sick of watching other teams running backs break tackles with stiff arms or simply just running through them until getting smacked by a LB and even then not going down until a second defender arrives and yet our guys go down on first contact. we've seen alot of good half backs this year. i'm not asking for a franchise back, but please give us something, anything. |
