Wow...I thought that is what I heard. This is really sad news....

I remember he told the crowd at Fan Fare a few years ago that he was going to be the next Prime Time. I use to joke with him and yell out "prime time" everytime I'd see him. He'd just smile and kinda laugh each time.

man.....

There seems to be conflicting reports though. I'm hearing something about a triple shooting and nothing about a limo that the post is reporting. Unless I'm hearing about two seperate murder incidents....

Wow, There is more to life than football... like living.

He had a hard life growing up in Dallas too., but he kept clean. I hope they caught the murderer.

Totally lost for words. Feel totally selfish for hurting so much after last night. Something like this really puts everything else into perspective. So sorry for D-Will, his family and the Broncos Organisation who just lost someone we all loved dearly. RIP Darrent.

Greg Nieto of WB2 news is live on the scene. I guess the white SUV limo is still there. It was a drive by shooting. damn

Nothing is being said about his lifestyle Conklin. It's much too early to speculate on what happened. It could have been random. If so it could have been any of us celebrating New Years trying to get home. I think the incident happened around 2:00am is what they are saying.

i do agree that it could have been any of us, but its been noted several times his habits of clubbing etc, new years or not, not much good happens @ that time of the morning...i will at least give him credit for not being behind the wheel of his impala!

I agree with Meck on this and let's wait and see what the story is before we speculate.

You wake up slightly hungover ... hope and think everything that happened yesterday was just an illusion and boom comes the sledge hammer. This year couldn´t have started any worse.

It's not a slam at D Will but these athletes really have to stay away from these night clubs. Tank Williams should be proof enough.

Those night clubs are dangerous especially for athletes because people are just jealous at what they have.

This is incredibly sad news.
Rest in peace DW. You had a super rookie season, it's just so sad you will never have the opportunity to become the player we know you could have become.

Prayers are with the team and his family.
